  1. The Way Home

tanuki26372 This invokes such nostalgia for me in regards to my early childhood where I would often dream up worlds of my own imagination and joy. Simply wonderful. Favorite track: The Way Home.
    Nest Productions thumbnail
Nest Productions I saw this cover art randomly while going through the dungeon synth tag. The low-bit rate art caught my eye because I like to play some retro games. The album was almost an insta-buy for me (I had to see if CDs were available first). "The Way Home" is a beautiful release. It captures that old-school medieval rpg vibe wonderfully. Favorite track: The Way Home.
    flaeder thumbnail
flaeder Im just thrown back in time when I listen to this. Playing Zelda with friends, watching a rented VHS while eating. I feel happy and safe. Favorite track: A Strange Stump.

    by Abominable Putridity
    supported by
    Vadim thumbnail
Vadim i don't even know where to begin with this album easily one of the best albums of all time inside of the sbdm scene, and for my money one of the best vocal performances Matti has ever done, such a formative album for me, 11/10. an absolute fucking ripper of an album. Favorite track: Letting Them Fall....
    toad thumbnail
toad I don't like usually like slam because it is generally monotonous and loses the impact of the breakdown pretty quickly. Abominable Putridity is one of the very few exceptions to this. These guys are fucking good. Favorite track: Wormhole Inversion.
    Red thumbnail
Red I remember when the promo dropped, the new style of vocals surprised me but in a good way. In facts they felt so right that they emulated the anger of the monster in the cover perfectly.

Non-stop-scientist-shredding carnage track through track. Brutal as fuck and worth buying. Favorite track: Lack Of Oxygen.

    TB Leonard II thumbnail
TB Leonard II It is nice to be transported by sounds and when I listen to this I am transported by its sounds. It is a lovely place to visit and it makes me happy to visit there.
    Brian Parker thumbnail
Brian Parker Beautiful fantasy analog synth sounds. I’m reminded of the soundtrack to Ralph Bakshi’s “Wizards”. Great stuff. Favorite track: Alone, the Wasp Queen is longing deep within the pitch-black non lucid paradoxical trance.
    Erik Connor thumbnail
Erik Connor Simply wonderful music! It definitely reminds me of those late 70's/early 80's electronic stock music albums and stuff from those low budget nature documentaries. Overall a very relaxing and inspiring listen! Keep it up! :) Favorite track: If this plant is sick, for once it is not the fault of the Wasp Queen.
    Cinnamon Bear thumbnail
Cinnamon Bear The Toors saved seeds from Mort Garson's 'Plantasia' and have planted them in fertile soils to grow into the lush garden that is 'Dwarves & Plants' Favorite track: Each Toors knows his job, except for Boombling who is acting up and do the fool.

    GD71666 thumbnail
GD71666 Yeah it’s Obituary worship….but goddamn, with Martin Van Drunen-ish vox, & a couple blast beats, they’ve actually put a fresh coat of paint on that style, & as such, it sounds a little more vibrant, honest, & energetic than your average homage band. Enjoy it more with every listen. Favorite track: ...of Old.
    Hayden Uhler thumbnail
Hayden Uhler I really like this album. It 100% falls into my own made up genre of "Ass Shaking Death Metal" cause I do be shaking my ass when its on Favorite track: Leprous Fire.
    Dumb mmmn thumbnail
Dumb mmmn who the HELL wants to hear questions? Let me hear that music, please. Nice and Loud. If you can get it, Justin, let's go,

but also going straight into crushing riffs
    Dmitry Nevozhay thumbnail
Dmitry Nevozhay Very tasteful crossbreed of Afterbirth/Artificial Brain/Ulcerate styles. Short, but emotionally intense brutal album, full of precious details and nuances. I'm a little bit late on this train, but better later then never Favorite track: Bleeding Teeth Fungus.
    gooose_ thumbnail
gooose_ This has quickly become one of my favorite albums of the past few years. Heavy and technical with memorable riffs, beautiful solos, and an incredible atmosphere.

The guitar work is next level and I’d pay a hefty price for some tabs! Favorite track: Elysiism.
