A.S. Mitch fuckin murdered! Turns out I like ~90's DnB. Perhaps only Mitch's, though, will see. Gotta get me Inertia and Aural state next. Favorite track: Bayshore Connect.

reckneya Inertia is I think arguably your best track to date. What a beautiful piece of art! The trumpet ads such an emotional element to it. This track feels like a homage to the 80s band "Propaganda" but with a modern "Hybrid Minds" twist to it. I like it a lot. Thanks for making this. Favorite track: Inertia.
    Superschwing thumbnail
Superschwing All kliller, no filler! Excellent tracks! love the vocals, incredibly good.
What are you waiting for? Grab this gem! Favorite track: Silence.
    A.S. thumbnail
A.S. I think I liked Hurricane more, but this is more unique, and very pleasant nonetheless! Coming from someone not very into dnb/jungle/how do you call this... Mitch really has a unique style in any genre. Recommend!

jazzberto I have all of Helicons lps and I've got to say, this is a combination that works a treat. This in my opinion has moved Helicon from a "Live" Neo Psyche band, to a full blown studio Psyche band. I think it's moved them into new territory which is fantastic. A more spaced out sound, very well produced. Well done guys. More of this type of album please.
    frandango-72 thumbnail
frandango-72 The fusion of the electro sounds with the psych powerhouse is remarkable!! Favorite track: Backbreaker.
    Peanut thumbnail

    marcandrebrucker thumbnail
marcandrebrucker I'm gonna start believing in miracles if there's a better album than this one coming out this year. I love both Helicon's and Al's stuff individually but this collab is just insane! More please! Favorite track: It Won't Stop.

mbx220 Knda like if the cocteau twins and earlier era slowdive had a baby. it's very pleasant. I get a lof of Cocteau Twins vibes on Remain! Great album, very chill and easy to listen to. Perfect for a rainy, gloomy fall evening. It's a good mix of some of the 80s and 90s shoegaze/dream pop with some modern twists. Favorite track: Remain.
    KatG thumbnail
KatG There's a genre debate going on in the comments and my contribution is that dream pop and shoegaze often seem completely interchangable to me the way people use them as terms (ofc genre is a slippery, subjective thing) -- this evokes 'dream pop' to me a lot more than some other things that confidently claim the subgenre. floaty, reverby, pretty in a wistful-haunting way. Favorite track: I Am The Dancer.
    dj duMars thumbnail
dj duMars Beautiful slowcore from the Great Lakes! Definitely a record for whisperpop obsessives. Favorite track: She Won't Be.

drcoleman Absolutely brilliant album with bold, cheeky lyrics. Outstanding work, Andrew and friends. Favorite track: Crisis Stage.
    9RnK7 thumbnail
9RnK7 Being such a huge fan of Andrew's work in Drab Majesty I had to check this out. This is an entirely different beast that shows just how great a songwriter Mr Clinco is. Post-punk with emotion and grit that makes me want to dance. I wish I could inject Andrew's dissonant guitar tone directly into my veins, it would surely add 10 years to my life. Rough Dimension has become one of my all time favorites. Favorite track: Taste of Hate.
    cassius_wolf thumbnail
cassius_wolf Genre-defining dark post-punk. Danceable rhythms with provocative lyrics talking about our own Rough Dimension. Must listen for any post-punk fan. Favorite track: Walk of Fame.
