Smekermann This stuff is great. Propulsive post-punk/krautrock grooves with a strong shoegaze sensibility.

I really dig the cover photo, too. It's basically the entire album in a snapshot: steady footprints towards a neon urban dystopia, alongside surf, and waves, and a long outstretched horizon, all coated in moody, dark tones, with shimmering highlights :') Favorite track: Wolkenkratzer.

hmppph The Void Wanderer is easily one of my favourites on the Cryo Chamber label. Favorite track: Let The Fog Dissolve You (feat. Mahlow).
    Worms thumbnail
Worms The Void Wanderer has become my go-to for quiet, meditative atmospheres.
    David Loveless thumbnail
David Loveless ‘Life Is Exhausting’ was my Dark Ambient AOTY for 2025 and I thought it would be impossible for The Void Wanderer to top that, but it happened! ‘Silent Streets’ is a massive collection of warm ambient tunes that resonate with the soul almost immediately. The Void Wanderer is quickly becoming one of my “go to” artist when I want a dose of hypnotic soundscapes and this album is one of the best to become sonically saturated with! Favorite track: End of The Day.

Mick Chillage As the artist name & the title suggest this album is a deep dive into the furthest reaches of "Space Ambient" Full of lush & shifting pads, with ethereal & experimental touches that draws influences from a range of diverse artists from Steve Roach to MBV to Ulrich Schnauss, yet Mirko carves his own sonic aesthetic with a deep sense of wonder & emotion.

Awad 14 of these 16 songs need to be played live on this next tour is all I'm saying!! There's some real magic in these songs - it's an exceptional record Favorite track: We Wrote Our Names in the Dust.
    Kolina Lind thumbnail
Kolina Lind Paradises is very dreamy & ethereal with a rich smoky synth atmosphere, frequently slower bpm with the addition of gorgeous minor chords throughout for an unforgettable melancholy effect. If you love Gravity the Seducer or Time’s Arrow this is reminiscent of those lush dream soundscapes. Ladytron never disappoints-Pure synth joy! Favorite track: A Death in London.
    ultor3 thumbnail
ultor3 Paradises is crazy beautiful, even for Ladytron. It could be their best album to date. Yes, the songs are danceable as advertised, but that does not stop them from being complex pieces of finest art. And it flows and is very coherent in the way that Gravity the Seducer does, but it's somehow even dreamier than it, reminding me of Vangelis's Spiral or Juno Reactor's Contact, and of the science fiction movies from when humanity used to dream about the future rather than dread it. Favorite track: Solid Light.
    Ross Wilson thumbnail
Ross Wilson Cannot get enough of 'I Believe In You', it's hypnotic. Love this, can't wait for the full album release. Favorite track: I Believe In You.
