    dvntylr thumbnail
dvntylr This might be one of his best standalone tracks yet. Blistering melodic black metal, I love it 🤘
    terrariancloud thumbnail
terrariancloud Phenomenal EP from one of my favorite bands in the genre. Excellent clash of everything atmospheric, symphonic, and brutally political. The message of the song and knowing my money will be used for a good cause is awesome. To hell with ICE and free Palestine. Favorite track: The Poppies Bloom For No King.

    Basil thumbnail
Basil Every now and then I come back to this album and everytime I'am astonished, how good it is. One of my favorite crust-punk metal-like moments in here. Favorite track: Shadows.
    Old Leech thumbnail
Old Leech War//Plague fuse speed-metal, punk, and brooding post-punk in a way that evokes but does not copy true crust of olde like Amebix and Sacrilege. The rare band that pushes boundaries and also hits the sweet spot. Just freaking great stuff.
    Televiper thumbnail
Televiper War//Plague up their songwriting game with an epic record that layers in strong currents of d-beat, crust, post-punk, and metal. Follow the call of the carrion crow! Favorite track: Fermentation.

Shumit Basu Like a Stranger is giving the Sisters of Mercy's Body Electric a run for its money. But rather than sounding derivative, this track sounds new and fresh. Favorite track: Like A Stranger.

TomCush This album has been my introduction to Panopticon... Wow...
Musically and emotionally breathtaking. This is already an incredibly special album for me.
    porcelainheart- thumbnail
porcelainheart- Really, it serves me right for not having checked out Panopticon sooner. In all fairness, Kentucky didn't stick with me no matter how many times I listened to it. This has definitely hit the mark for me. I fully believe the hype now, and I see why thousands of people have bought this. Panopticon continues to solidify their position as titans in the USBM scene. Favorite track: Moth Eaten Soul.
    wsamsaal thumbnail
wsamsaal Damn near perfect! A huge, epic, and heartfelt experience combining Americana and black metal, and adding deeply personal themes. Completely unique and fantastic! Favorite track: Rope Burn Exit.

    Nick thumbnail
Nick This album came out of nowhere for me, and yet it so perfectly encapsulates how I feel. It’s an absolutely beautiful experience that is filled with an ambient bittersweet joy and melancholy that speaks directly to my soul. It is simultaneously sweepingly uplifting and devastatingly sad. And I couldn’t love it more. Favorite track: Eternal Joy On The Mountain Of Loneliness.
    Sid thumbnail
Sid I listen to this at work in my office. Favorite track: Fallen Leaves.
    Strogg thumbnail
Strogg this makes me feel like im in a black and white post war french movie, dancing in a flower field Favorite track: Fallen Leaves.

    Lutz Seemann thumbnail
Lutz Seemann A magnificent poem paired with a musical masterpiece. Favorite track: Words Unspoken.
    nortoncanes thumbnail
nortoncanes This is a cut above - it's got a real raw sound, and a fragility, that does far more than simply play on the usual coldwave tropes. It has an anguished allure and plenty of dark twists up its sleeve. Favorite track: Pressure.

hellbendervinyl Hellbender Vinyl (hellbendervinyl.com) was psyched to have pressed this record to vinyl! "Citadel of the Stars" sounds even better on Clear w/ Gold Splatter Vinyl or Gold w/ Black Splatter Vinyl! Favorite track: The Gates of Caras Galadhon.
    RJ thumbnail
RJ Lord of the Rings inspired black metal is one of my favorite things, especially when done in the same vein as Summoning and Caladan Brood. Melodic, whimsical, and well arranged - ‘Citadel of Stars’ is easily recommended. Forth Éorlingas! 7/10 Favorite track: Beholding the Chamber of Mazarbul.
    porcelainheart- thumbnail

    rikm thumbnail
rikm A perfect blend of Darkwave, Shoegaze, and nineties nostalgia that remains vital, current, and very present.

On their self-titled release, Shadow Age have successfully tapped into a musical ideal that stands the test of time.
    brantly thumbnail
brantly Interesting neo-goth-y-indie-darkwave. The vocalist does have a Dave Gahan tone sometimes, but the band is more a mix of Chameleons, a less histrionic early Editors and contemporaries like Forever Gray. But, really, if you think dark post-punk meets 'Rio' era Duran Duran, you've pretty much nailed it,
