slinkyarms this is exactly what i’ve been looking for from new rock music. the beatles influence is plainly obvious, but there’s also hints of glam (particularly t. rex) in here that have me hooked. rocks my socks clean off Favorite track: TV Star.

BobandoCommando My impulsive curiosity payed off again. Had no clue who these people were but after playing a track on here I could sense I'd love the whole album. It is a minimalist sounding album but has a fun addicting energy to it that made me repeat the album over and over again. Despite the energetic and playful nature of it, the most subdued and somber track, "Julie", was a standout to me. Favorite track: Julie.

smrsin I came across Margaritas Podridas by pure chance and don't regret it. The sound is great, bass is heavy, guitar distorted and accompanied by by echoed vocals just in the right way to make you feel half-way between peaking on acid and seeing the death in datura-induced delirium, with perfect on-time, hitting the right spot every time drums.

I haven't heard like this in years.

I hope you'll find time to play in Europe soon and I'll be more than glad if you could include a gig in Prague.
    Cheers! Favorite track: Ceremonia.

Diamond Field Great time capsule of an album that would have hit hard in 1989 if it had been released then but still sounds fresh in 2024!

wrymfterrill A true honor to meet (one of) you and downtown Raleigh recently, sorry it took so damn long to truly engage with your music. So far so good for this “lost” masterpiece.

a_lucid_dream Saw you twice in Paris (Olympia and Trabendo) and I was stunned to see how good of a performer you are WITHOUT the ego most good performers have. While you are being a private person, the vulnerability in your lyrics and in your voice (especially during Shoom live performances) is truly touching. You gained a lot of stage confidence over the years but when your voice cracks or faints a little bit, it adds so much beauty. I must admit I cried during your interpretation of Iris (Paris, Trabendo). Favorite track: The Stain.
    euchlid thumbnail
euchlid what's not to love from a favourite band? Favorite track: Unbleached.
    nightrazor thumbnail
nightrazor FFS TR/ST's self-titled album 10 years prior was barely a hint at what this would become. It's like "Shoot" expanded to a full album. So many great tracks. Favorite track: Iris.
