very_weary I once had this album stuck in my head for six months straight. I wasn't even a bit upset about it. Favorite track: Nice Dresses.
    Mikey thumbnail
Mikey This EP is so raw it might as well hold your smokes. Every song is a bop and that's what makes it their best release. Favorite track: Heaven (For The Weekend).

Ethan Their best work, it's so uncanny

Much love for these boys x

    gonkmaster69 thumbnail
gonkmaster69 Beauty in mundanity. This whole album has been with me through some of the lowest points of my life during the past few years, and I really tried but haven't found another band whose lyrics and sound made me feel so seen. I think Croak Dream changed my life and I'm not exaggerating. Ily Water-Mall and am looking forward to the new album tomorrow. Favorite track: Croak Dream.
    paranoidsinusoid thumbnail
paranoidsinusoid i wish i could somehow reach you, tell you what this album means to me and how it affected me. it builds this vast, expansive narrative of compounding loneliness and regret throughout, culminating in the waltzing mouse.. it gave meaning to the hardest part of my life. i always wanted to make music, but what i would've made is already right here. this is the most important album in my life. thank you.. i truly wonder what kind of soul made this album. i hope someday, you'll find a home, too. Favorite track: The Waltzing Mouse.
    lena- thumbnail
lena- The fluffiest record I've ever heard soundscape wise. It's so comforting. Love the starry melodies on it Favorite track: Slouch.

    arkhi thumbnail
arkhi The androidish voice, the arhythmic percussions; a lot of things just moved me.

This album came right on time to reflect realities I was encountering. “Plans we made” definitely triggered some feelings and has been precious then and still beautiful now.
    forrest stanley thumbnail
forrest stanley Spacious, guttural, emotive and lush. Absolutely astonishing. Very reminiscent of Rafiq Bhatia's solo work. Wonderful to see each personality of this triad shine together as well as independently throughout their collaboration. Love love love this album. If you are still reading this do yourself a favor, stop, go buy this album and chill for the next hour, just you, son lux and the hi-fi. Fucking brilliant man. Favorite track: Undertow.
    Eric Gedenk thumbnail
Eric Gedenk I wasn't sure that I liked the newest as much as other releases, but it has grown on me and is shaping up as one of their most well-rounded. Favorite track: Plans We Made.
    robertbishop thumbnail
robertbishop Somehow simultaneously a bright spot and a darkness... but always just what I needed. With every release I'm further convinced that there is nothing like Son Lux. I hope to enjoy their brilliance for many years to come. Favorite track: Honesty.
