Rosemary Nuts Well, after getting Thought, Action... I had to get this album. Can't quite believe how good it is. If you told me this came out in 60s or 70s I'd believe you. Beautiful production and playing.
    MrJelly thumbnail
MrJelly ATA seems like a good place to dip your toe in to jazz. I've been really enjoying a bunch of releases from them. This is among the standouts imho. Solid grooves and plenty of grit, strong from beginning to end, great sound quality. Theres a lot to love here. I've listened to it atleast 20 times in the past week. Superb. Favorite track: Work Money Death.
    woe_bonnet thumbnail
woe_bonnet This album makes me feel like I earn a comfortable living as an Adolphe Sax whirlygig vendor who lives somewhere in the Paris Catacombs. Favorite track: Beginning And End.

    woe_bonnet thumbnail
woe_bonnet It's an album chock-a-block with groove, but the b-side is what really slips me off the docking ring. Another astrophysical jet from the inner space of Greg Foat and company! Favorite track: Electric Dreams, Pt. 1.
    dgcirkus thumbnail
dgcirkus had me with ring modulation. great synth laden grooves. Favorite track: Electric Dreams, Pt. 2.
    Jeff Kliment thumbnail
Jeff Kliment Love the spacey soulful sounds of the Greg Foat Group. Of course blue is my favorite color. This one hits the sweet spot, as usual.

    drpepperderf thumbnail
drpepperderf Best jazz album of the year. I've checked out Yazz's past albums and they were all solid, but this new album is clearly the dominant force in her discography. The music on this record not only requires your attention, it demands it. It has such a commanding presence to it, I love it Favorite track: Dancing Barefoot.
