  4. Computer Death
    by Infinity Frequencies

    pentaklosm thumbnail
pentaklosm computer death was my first excursion into the more obscure parts of vaporwave, and in my opinion one of the most elegantly crafted of the scene. the concept of "computer gaze" has always intrigued me; the thousands of hard drives and physical media locked away and rotting in all corners of the earth is a truly terrifying thing to think about. in a way, our humanity has been archived through our technology, and with the rapid growth of the world, these memories and data are being lost to time. Favorite track: Blind Sword.
    SLADESNAKE thumbnail
SLADESNAKE Pale skin feels like you are falling from the tallest building and your skin is turning pale as you start cry. Your tears start to float as you fall into the abyss waiting for your end. This album is a really sad expericence to listen through and I actually the feel the computer as he is thinking about old memories and how life was. Realizing how alone he is going to be in the future going forward into Computer Decay. This is the second best in the computer trilogy and one of the most effective Favorite track: Pale Skin.
    compacted disco thumbnail
compacted disco A well thought out album, it really drives the theme of the title to a T. Favorite track: Withering.

    Rayne thumbnail
Rayne A true masterpiece in its genre.
This album feels like a soundtrack to whatever embodies the "uncanny valley" while wandering around endless liminal space. Selected ambient works 2 may take you places that are peaceful to some and/or nightmarish to others. Both vinyl and digital releases have their charm and masterful quality. Very introspective.

    Enjoy! Favorite track: #23.
    OrsonXD thumbnail
OrsonXD Rightfully one of the most acclaimed ambient albums of all time. Every track gives such a unique atmosphere. 19 is audial meditation at its finest. Favorite track: #19.
    risopalle thumbnail
risopalle drifting through dreams. cliffs, narrows, chutes, valleys, an ever changing landscape of brain chemicals. one moment you're running through green blades of grass on a sunlit hill, the next you're looking at clouds crossing the sky like cars, then it's night, pitch black darkness in a desert of cement. every warm moment counts in the face of the cold that's lying up ahead. it's one very, very dynamic album. Favorite track: #1.
