Goosebumps.

A stunningly crafted ambience. Looming synth passages, tribal ancient-sounding drums, nature recordings, dialogue snippets and many, many other subtle details. This is all done in an attempt to capture the beauty of nature and planet Earth as a whole. Emotionally it's heartbreaking but also comforting. In my opinion all of this adds up to form one of the best pieces of music I have ever seen. Favorite track: On Earth.

Heath Rezabek It's impossible to describe the lasting impact 1194 has had on me since I heard On Earth for the first time at 22 in 94. Days spent with friends making coffee and listening to this album (and its em:t kin), creating in common like tomorrow was vast and made of pure possibility. Ambient electronica owes 1194 a debt that is deep and wide. In honor of the time and space gifted me by this music, I'm going to break with tradition in naming my favorite track. Infinite space. Infinite time. woob 1194 Favorite track: Wuub.

Ryall I think this might be my favourite album of all time. Exquisitely high production, wonderfully atmospheric, it's a modern day masterpiece. Favorite track: On Earth.

Charles Urban Not a music review - a release review. This is a perfectly done release. The records are flat with no surface noise, and very few pops. The gatefold is top notch and a perfect reproduction. Everything was packed very well for international shipping. I appreciate the care and effort put into this release. Philip Graham Elysian Fields' rough and ready "lost" record, now happily found. Favorite track: Flatline.

jed316 It sounds just a little different from Elysian Fields' other albums -- a little more edge to it -- but it still retains all of that slinky, sensual, breathy mysteriousness that EF is known for. No EF fan should miss it. Favorite track: Up Jumped The Kitty.

non-existent Found at Record Breakers Hoffman Estates in the 90’s not knowing its significance until later. Probably paid five bucks for it. Unfortunately sold it for about that much. Favorite track: T.V.O.D..
