Lorenzo Ripping, high energy death / thrash from Belgium. Packed with wall-to-wall riffs blazing with technique and fretwork, intense blast beats, and spirited vocals. There is an immense vitality to the performances on this release.

shotgun suicide This album fucking rips, as usual.

Do you like black, thrash, or speed metal? If so, stop reading and start listening.

All hail the goat! Favorite track: Hunderprest.
    FriendlyGenderlessGoblin thumbnail
FriendlyGenderlessGoblin This album totally Rips. James is such a talented individual. The Crushing guitar work with the Hellish Shreiks OMG.
Hellripper never disappoints. All Hail The Goat. Favorite track: Kinchyle (Goatkraft and Granite).
    Bart thumbnail
Bart Just like their last album, at first I didn't take to it, then I was loving it. Same thing here. They are still firmly in the blackened thrash vein, but keep playing and expanding their music. The solos get a bit lond-winded for me, but holy hell, the primary riffs are just complicated yet unforgettable. Yes it's awesome as we hoped. Now let's get some live dates in the U.S. Favorite track: Baobhan Sith (Waltz of the Damned).

    Rich Kinman thumbnail
Rich Kinman I listened to 3 songs on youtube from this and I liked them so much I figured I'd purchase it! \m/ I'm glad Rob Dukes is back. \m/
    spacciathemax thumbnail
spacciathemax Ciao a tutti! 12th album from this great band that, alongside the usual big names (Metallica, Slayer, Anthrax, etc.), played a defining role in shaping the sound known as 'Thrash Metal.' This record is a total steamroller, with the musicians at the top of their game delivering a praiseworthy instrumental performance. Dukes' hardcore vocals bring it all together. To hell with those in Italy who, in their reviews, called this album dull and monotonous: NON capiscono un CAZZO!!!" Favorite track: 3111.

Sascha / The Metal Grimoire thumbnail
Sascha / The Metal Grimoire absolutly classic Death Metal album! I also love Necrotisism but "Heartwork" has a special spot in my heart,... countless awesome songs like especially This mortal Coil, the titletrack "Hearwork" or No Love lost, Carnal Forge.... Carcass went again more in the melodic with this album, while Necrotisism was yet very melodic,... but they kept aggressive with some blastbeats and a aggressive vibe in the songs... awesome! Favorite track: This Mortal Coil.
    Hell_For_Breakfast thumbnail
Hell_For_Breakfast Classic Carcass — saw the vinyl was available so I had to pick it up and add to my collection. Favorite track: No Love Lost.
    mr_sippycup thumbnail
mr_sippycup A classic. The album guitar tone that spawned countless copycats... for better or worse. Favorite track: Heartwork.

iannai Very, very awesome set of tracks here, everything I love about this kind of electronic music. Some tracks stand out more than others, but overall, a fantastic package.

stemg "one of the crowning achievements of modern electronic music"
    - paktlikesardine, AOTY.org Favorite track: Leviathan Sanctuary.
    czeko_dzem thumbnail
czeko_dzem I have already bought the trilogy as separate albums, but presented as a whole, these tracks feel even better!
TURQUOISEDEATH skillfully blends genres from DnB and trance to psychedelic rock, shoegaze, and even vaporwave, taking inspiration from great artists like Fishmans or Massive Attack.
The resulting works feel fresh to me each listen. So, close your eyes, and enjoy this great music too! Favorite track: Close Your Eyes.

    Obsidian One thumbnail
Obsidian One I sometimes forget how much I used to enjoy Dark Tranquility — and still do. I remember hearing the intro to the opening track shortly after this album dropped. I was already a fan from Character, and the moment the guitar kicked in on the first track, I was sold. 'Terminus (Where Death Is Most Alive)' takes me back to my early English-teaching days in Tokyo, while 'Misery's Crown' resonates with me more now, with its gothic style blending with their signature melodic death metal.
    John Chaos Alexander thumbnail
John Chaos Alexander Every fuckin' track on this album fuckin' Slays, This was a great fuckin' Album \M/ Favorite track: Terminus (Where Death Is Most Alive).
    St. Corax thumbnail
St. Corax This was my first album by DT. I loved it so much I bought a physical copy. Now I also have it in bandcamp. Am I crazy? Maybe. Is it worth it? No doubt. Favorite track: The Mundane And The Magic.

    Mohaski thumbnail
Mohaski Powerful and intense progressivism on a stellar recording. A fantastic mix of brain and brawn. Favorite track: Encaged visions of the unobstructed.
    Ghuughra thumbnail
Ghuughra Precise technical death metal that draws influence from the more serious side of prog. Big brain lyrical themes, all around excellent musicianship. Check the album press: Bangalore, India.

    Yeah, that tracks.

The Indian metal scene is blowing up these last couple years. Guess there's something about growing up cheek-to-jowel with a billion other people that lends to heavy music. Who would've guessed?

ps: seems like Hannes Grossmann can literally do no wrong. Favorite track: In pretence (Feat. Hannes Grossmann).

sashavonkarl74 A masterpiece of atmospheric and melancholic BM from the UK. I checked their latest opus first and it did not quite convince me, I may need to go back to it, but this one? this is a gem, thank you to Naturmacht for putting this under my nose :)

It clicked immediately with me as opposed to their last one and reminded me of the last Oubliette. Favorite track: A Thousand Lifetimes.
    Warangelic thumbnail
Warangelic Mesmerizing piece of atmospheric melodic black metal. Favorite track: Fading Dreams.
    Fallenin77 thumbnail
Fallenin77 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Cohesive atmospheric melodic Black Metal where melancholy and brutality come together... addressing the passage of time, the loss of innocence and the encounter with death, 𝗢𝗳𝗻𝘂𝘀 creates a sound universe that moves you both with its aggressiveness and its sensitivity. Without a doubt, one of the best releases of the year! ⛧ Favorite track: Grains Of Sand.
