    mikehoneycutt thumbnail
mikehoneycutt I found this couple in the 80's when they were active and on the Color label in the U.K. - Another worthy gem from Dark Entries records in San Francisco. Dig deeper and you'll find more nuggets from the O'Connell output. Don't miss this obscure pick from "The Golden Age". Favorite track: Ascension.
    Niton Decay thumbnail
Niton Decay What a charming classic. Favorite track: Cold Expression.

    Whyte Rushan thumbnail
Whyte Rushan it was around 4.20 when I returned from walking the dog, and On 95 BFM, the Plato's Retreat show, this wonderful tune, I was lucky enough to wait for voice break to catch the name of the artist, so here we are... so good, by the time I got to the Golden Age, I was next level, and then I melted down Favorite track: Imperial Motors.

    Lute FP thumbnail
Lute FP I have owned the digital copy for a long time, but when they came out with the expanded vinyl I had to buy. Read their bio- this is pop music unlike anything that could have come out of the US, and is a time capsule of a time and place; a sonic and cultural melting pot that was probably too ambitious for the original 1982 release. Maybe now that everything has been tried, something truly original can be properly appreciated.
    Cameron Toll thumbnail
Cameron Toll Classic. This has inspired recent new wave bands like Public Practice and (I believe) deep tan. Thanks for pointing it out, Lute!
