Why do they do it? But they are so good at it and I love them for it.
The seventies acoustics are great. For me this is their masterpiece, beautifully executed , interesting and self-evident like walking the dog…

Un superbe album! Des musiciens en grande forme, des mélodies accrocheuses, des textes bien écrit, on peut difficilement demander mieux...
Favorite track: Where the Ocean Meets the Sky.

Superb music! Like no other, really, Bjorns vocals are pastoral and peaceful and bolstered by some of the best progressive rock you'll ever hear. Drummer Olaf Olsen is amazing and so much fun to listen to! Highly recommended!
Favorite track: Carry Me Away.

Another Canterburied record. The nonchalant singing style reminds me of Al Stewart and Dutch Pop band Daryll-Ann. The superb bass often acts like a second voice. Very consistent athmosphere, like watching clouds on your back in a hayfield on a summer day.

This is a wonderfully mellow progressive rock album made in Norway, but which sounds as though it might have been made in Canterbury! I love the organ work, and the vocalist's languid style fits the music perfectly. At turns, jazzy and psychedelic; throughout, warm and melodic. This is an absolute gem of an album.
Favorite track: Shattered into memories.

A jam record, therefore a bit different in their oeuvre. An early one, not the refined stuff of later years. Reminds me of Kraan in their trio years, the three playing like speaking in conversation with each other.
Love the bass as usual, but the others holding up their part.

I bought the entire Magic Pie discography, but this is probably my favorite album. The vocals and the music are right in the sweet spot of what I enjoy listening to. Thoughtful lyrics too.
Favorite track: A Life's Work pt.4 The Suffering Joy.
