    Som Bhattacharyya thumbnail
Som Bhattacharyya Ra and the magic of the cosmic genius. This recording is excellent at a very high quality. Musicians playing free form music across several styles like funk, hard bop blues and what not. Beautiful album and the CD is done very well too. Super stoked to own a copy of this cosmic fragment! Favorite track: Where Pathways Meet (Remastered).
    Karel Eigenraam thumbnail
Karel Eigenraam The original version gave me so much pleasure and inspiration. Now it sounds as crisp as Swirling does. Thank you Strut and everyone involved.

  2. An empty bliss beyond this World

All you are going to want to do is get back there All you are going to want to do is get back there

    grunkoid thumbnail
grunkoid I felt like nothing was real and everything was an illusion created by my own mind using what i was actually seeing in the real world as a reference Favorite track: Moments of sufficient lucidity.
    resource thumbnail
resource I love the style of production on this album. I think the reprises of songs are a great addition to the album as a whole. Favorite track: An empty bliss beyond this World.
    UNCRN JNKI thumbnail
UNCRN JNKI Deceitful Nostalgia: the crackle, ballroom reverb, and worn-out melodies aren't just vintage, but feel like decaying memories, as if the past is replaying itself from inside a damaged archive.

What comes to mind is the photograph from the end of The Shining, the balcony/diner scene from The Carnivale series, and the surreal dance from Carnival of Souls.

I envision a gala evening, Empty Bliss is playing there, forever. The dead applaud, they have but one virtue - Looking Like Each Other...

    Favorite track: Libet's delay.

Joel What an absolute gem of an album. Favorite track: Until Tomorrow.
    Constantbacklogging thumbnail
Constantbacklogging This is among a list of albums that I didn't think I would embrace as quickly as I did. It's definitely long but it never overstays its welcome & the character of the sound palette lends to what I can only describe as "a hopeful brutalist". Like you were staring in the face of this concrete artpiece but it never exudes intimidation, instead with grace & awe Favorite track: Until Tomorrow.
    ---------------------------- thumbnail
---------------------------- This is a very personal album to me, as it was among the first electronic albums I listened to. It is as close as I can describe a perfect album to be. Big ideas executed in such a way that no one song sounds the same, but is unified by its design, orchestration, and pitch perfect production. A legendary album from a legendary band. Favorite track: Until Tomorrow.
    layneson thumbnail
layneson A classic! While this album is very much an electronic affair, I cannot shake the acoustic touches and haunting vibes of Until Tomorrow. Favorite track: Until Tomorrow.

I love this track name, which is name of the graphics chip on the PS2. and the Windows 95 startup menu sample. Good work, Pizza Hotline for this awesome and, brilliant, and unique album. Shane Mesa Fresh, breezy, sunny, sea foam music right here. I just discovered this city pop album, and I'm thankful I did. The vocals are pretty, too. This music has the potential to be shuffled on repeat all day. This album is the sixth cassette in my collection! Favorite track: Summer Breeze.
