tommy_gun68 I found geese through the basement sessions video, truly an amazing band and Cameron has an awesome voice. The "falling apart" verse of Husbands just hits the spot man Favorite track: Husbands.

    Mark W thumbnail
Mark W This is Buck’s best record. It is fantastic.

Sadly I suspect some of Buck’s past output may prevent this being given the attention it deserves, but there must come a time when it will hit the right ears and be given the recognition it deserves. A genuine classic that I fear will sleep for a long time before people wake up to it.

Thank you for coming back and creating when it would be so much easier to just hold to a day job and bring a salary home.
    Christopher Roth thumbnail
Christopher Roth If you're new to Buck 65, a better place to start would be the Digital Discography. From there, you'll eventually get here.
    JackSquatt thumbnail
JackSquatt These new albums just keep getting better and better. The improvement in sound quality from Sixtoo's mixing is definitely noticeable. Buck, you should consider having him remaster KoD, SD and PRBB to give them all a uniform sound. Just a thought! Favorite track: Bug Juice.

    Peter thumbnail
Peter This is a hard listen, not just because of the mythology surrounding the creation of the tracks, but because it's very much non-music. A suggested by the title it decays and gets destroyed, the noise slowly overtaking and becoming harsher to hear. Its repetition isn't to highlight a cool sample/loop - it's to cause a response. This is hard to listen to, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Favorite track: DLP 1.1.
    Mount_Mourn thumbnail
Mount_Mourn The musical equivalent of ridding the home of bad spirits. Favorite track: DLP 2.1.
    sean2525 thumbnail
sean2525 Deeply moving. I reflect on the passing of all things as I listen to this particularly the passing of people that were close to me. And I face the future passing of myself. A beautiful experience. Favorite track: DLP 1.1.

    Eric Perkins thumbnail
Eric Perkins A rare "love at first listen" album. A perfect bubble gum pop batch of songs that will have you car dancing from the very first track (which is also my favorite--but they're all good). Favorite track: Kids Go Down (孩子们的时光).
    Michael Van Vleet thumbnail
Michael Van Vleet Fuzzy and sweet pop songs from Seattle, in English and Mandarin! Perfect bops from bottom to tops! Favorite track: Take Me To Beijing (一起回北京).
    crazyAP thumbnail
crazyAP I love it all: Heartbreaker's sinister intentions wrapped in a bubblegum melody, Take Me To Beijing's singalong perfection & deep synth pad funk, and Love You's sheer beauty. Picking up on vibes I love about other bands, too, like The Vaselines' pop simplicity and lyrical genius and Stereolab's electro-eclecticism. The bass intro to Pink Strawberries suggests the beginning of a 10-minute drone jam but is more Sesame Street space jam by the end, which is cool, too. Obviously! Favorite track: Love You (爱你).

    kevinmxdermott thumbnail
kevinmxdermott With every new release since King of Drums, it feels like Buck is both going backwards and forwards at the same time. Like, he’s successfully getting better at going back to his roots and doing it better each time, thus, moving forward. I hope this makes sense to someone.
    Jason Ryan thumbnail
Jason Ryan Uncle Buck is back at it with another masterpiece! always displaying the elements of hip hop. this is like an all Star team of tracks. Favorite track: The Wooga.
