Peter This is a hard listen, not just because of the mythology surrounding the creation of the tracks, but because it's very much non-music. A suggested by the title it decays and gets destroyed, the noise slowly overtaking and becoming harsher to hear. Its repetition isn't to highlight a cool sample/loop - it's to cause a response. This is hard to listen to, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Favorite track: DLP 1.1.

Eric Perkins A rare "love at first listen" album. A perfect bubble gum pop batch of songs that will have you car dancing from the very first track (which is also my favorite--but they're all good). Favorite track: Kids Go Down (孩子们的时光).

Michael Van Vleet Fuzzy and sweet pop songs from Seattle, in English and Mandarin! Perfect bops from bottom to tops! Favorite track: Take Me To Beijing (一起回北京).

crazyAP I love it all: Heartbreaker's sinister intentions wrapped in a bubblegum melody, Take Me To Beijing's singalong perfection & deep synth pad funk, and Love You's sheer beauty. Picking up on vibes I love about other bands, too, like The Vaselines' pop simplicity and lyrical genius and Stereolab's electro-eclecticism. The bass intro to Pink Strawberries suggests the beginning of a 10-minute drone jam but is more Sesame Street space jam by the end, which is cool, too. Obviously! Favorite track: Love You (爱你).
