porcelainheart- Another local band! I saw this group live April 22nd, 2026. I heard this album maybe a week or two before the show and knew I needed to hear it live. Described as "post-death metal", this has richly detailed guitar work that makes for some memorable songwriting. It's honestly incredibly how much sound two women were able to get just by playing guitar and drums. Definitely catch this live if you can! FFO Fallujah, Crown of Madness and Convulsing. Favorite track: I Am The Future Both Feared And Hoped For.

This is powerful – almost crushingly so at times – but not incapable of dispensing mercy upon the listener, and twists around without self-inflicting any knots. After taking the time over two albums to test his mixes, Doubtsower retained what worked: this third opus marks a statisfying distillation of his art; I wish it'll go on refining in this direction.
