Those first two full-length albums with the great Midnight (R.I.P.) on vocals are absolute masterpieces; how could anyone forget stunning songs like 'Lost Reflection'? 😰This new CD ranks just below those first two works for me. The new singer, Travis Willis, is truly talented and the band sounds in top form. There are nine great tracks here. Let’s fucking go and buy it! 🤘 Favorite track: Angel In My Nightmare.

H.L. Up until now, power metal has mostly been a turn-off for me, as the vocals are often too high-pitched and many songs simply too cheesy. I guess I'm getting old, because "Legions" really gets me going. The vocals are bearable and although the symphonic songs are dripping with pathos, they're a lot of fun. The album sounds not really original, but that doesn't detract from the enjoyment, as "Legions of Immortal Dragonlords", "The Imperator," or "Dead Kings in the Grave" are simply cool songs! Favorite track: Dead Kings in the Grave.
