Henrik Thøgersen Alicia is a masterful songwriter. I’ve really missed her contributions to Judicator, but this album more than makes up for lost times! Favorite track: Wizard & Mask (Ft. Bethany "Beef" Pitts).
    gwdog thumbnail
gwdog Fresh, varied, and interesting! She says it is a patchwork project of different ideas and genres, and yes you can hear that inconsistency plus the sort of home-brewed production quality. But each track has something good to offer. No Leaf Clover could be a radio hit. I'm seriously looking forward to whatever is next from Alicia! Favorite track: No Leaf Clover (Metallica Cover Ft. Kristin Starkey & Joshua Payne).
    George Henderson thumbnail
George Henderson Everything about this album kicks ass. It’s fresh yet tinged with familiarity, diverse yet cohesive, and immaculate sounding. The solos rip, the vocals soar, and the hooks are razor sharp. Favorite track: Upon Ruin's Precipice (Ft. Aya Druïd).

si1n If this is any indication of what's to come, then we're in for something special: interesting, epic & timeless.
    dinamichelle thumbnail
dinamichelle These are truly exciting times. Eternal Champion and Sumerland are what started me on my epic metal journey. I have been waiting so long to get a new music notification. Now if we can get some new Visigoth we will know the stars have truly aligned

Betwixtyiff Twilight Force knocks it out of the park again. Orchestral arrangements are gorgeous, vocals are soaring, the guitars are dynamic and bombastic, and the way they all come together here is nothing short of great Favorite track: Magic of a New Dawn.

sashavonkarl74 @fyeahmetal is right on! What a VOICE, Sarabeth is a true POWERHOUSE !!!
Very refreshing and addictive album by TOWER, a band I knew nothing about, thank you Insta for suggesting REAL great music... Favorite track: Holy Water.

bigfatandrew This album RIPS. Favorite track: Holy Water.
    fyeahmetal thumbnail
fyeahmetal My buddies and I have conversations about who's going to succeed the OG classic metal singers. Ozzy's gone, Dio's gone, the others are getting up there. IMO Sarabeth Linden is on the short list, as well as Brooks from Crypt Sermon. Hope for the future! And that's the feel of this record, not some soggy, "authentically lo-fi" rehash, but a rocket-powered time machine to an era when music had mystery and power. "The Hammer" is as good as anything Maiden has written in the past 15 years. Favorite track: Iron Clad.

    buufubuubu thumbnail
buufubuubu “Fires on the Mountainside” soars triumphantly like metal acts of olde, but with a touch of modernity and ferocity few other acts can compete with. The opening track and namesake of the album might just be the most earworm-y song of 2025. Favorite track: Fires on the Mountainside.

This is definitely my favorite album from 2025. I have listened to this so much that my kids can sing along - and they love it too! Favorite track: Fires on the Mountainside.
    Bart thumbnail
Bart Musically they remind me of Manowar more than Iron Maiden. Vocally they actually remind me of Skyclad in that they are clean, but have a bit of grit to them. Very epic sounding heavy metal with some obvious black metal influence as well. I'm surprised at how much i liked this. Favorite track: Fires on the Mountainside.

sierrawesterndrake As a fantasy video game/movie/literature lover, this kind of music really is the perfect cherry on top to a good game or book. Plus riding dragons is infinitely superior to slaying them. Favorite track: Riding the Dragons.

dmndpnk This album is GOAT!! Favorite track: Majesty of Steel.

Extremely gratifying dose of aggressive alacrity, i might add!
It's all in the description, fellow ladies and gents, hungry for brutal quality:
Why you love what you hear, who's to blame (the usual suspects) and where to search for more like this.
Yeah, don't miss the great comments too ⤵️
