If Heaven and Earth felt like Kamasi's coronation as an all-time jazz icon, then Fearless Movement feels like a Roman Triumph with laurels, accolades, and Andre 3000. Lengthwise this is practically a pop album by Washington's standards, but it still feels majestic, huge and rich with variety and themes, accentuated by the range of collaborators and guests he brings on. The album ends with such huge momentum, leaving me hungry for more. It's truly exciting to be living in the time of Kamasi.
