  1. The Two-Fold Aspect Of Everything
    by Bill Nelson
    supported by
    Ian Roegels thumbnail
Ian Roegels I'm super happy to see this released if for no other reason than to finally have a digital copy of "Eros Arriving (Single Version)". Slightly disappointed the opportunity to restore the original 2LP vinyl track sequence wasn't taken, (ESPECIALLY the remix of "Acceleration"), but my happiness to finally have digital versions of some of these songs supersedes that. Favorite track: Eros Arriving.

eoschwartz I’ve been treating myself to buying at least 1 download a week from Bill Nelson and this one really stands out in my collection. I find the pace is very much to my liking (energetic). The guitar work is very creative and Bill got some new ideas on this one that indeed has a little more bite than some of his work. I enjoy his style when he is assertive and puts down rhythmic guitar backgrounds. This is one of my many favorite albums. All it misses is background voice choruses.

    Sven B. Schreiber (sbs) thumbnail
Sven B. Schreiber (sbs) Reportedly, this album is one of Bill Nelson's own favorites. In my humble opinion, it's among his best works I've ever listened to since 1971 - the release year of his debut album "Northern Dreamer". I'm a long-term admirer of Bill Nelson's unique approach to rock, wave, avantgarde, and experimental music. "Futurama" (1975), "Sunburst Finish" (1976), "Sound On Sound" (1979), and "Quit Dreaming And Get On The Beam" (1981) were among my most-played albums in the 70's/80's and onwards, and ever since are part of a small set of recordings constituting my all-time favorites. Regarding the sound and songwriting, "The Alchemical Adventures Of Sailor Bill" probably comes as close as can be to his classic "Be-Bob Deluxe" albums. Favorite track: Dream Of Imperial Steam.

John Mentzer Some of my Bill Nelson freinds call this a challenging album. I dont know. I've felt that way about others but not this one. This album sailed right into my heart unchallenged.

JD Shores Somehow, the guitar playing and tone on "Moments" reminds me of some of Todd Rundgren's playing from the 80's, like Tiny Demons... Favorite track: Moments Catch Fire On The Crest Of Waves (Alternative Mix).
