dinamichelle These are truly exciting times. Eternal Champion and Sumerland are what started me on my epic metal journey. I have been waiting so long to get a new music notification. Now if we can get some new Visigoth we will know the stars have truly aligned

  4. Sons of Set
    by Lycopolis
    supported by
    Gilgareth thumbnail
Gilgareth One of my favorite black metal bands today! Lycopolis deliver exactly what I loved about their previous albums: fusing raw second-wave BM with Arabic scales, creating great riffs and a sound that’s both fierce and distinctive. Considering the severe consequences for blasphemy in their homeland, their art goes far beyond the often theatrical posturing of modern black metal. On the contrary, Lycopolis may well embody what black metal can still stand for.
    DeadNightMoonlight thumbnail
DeadNightMoonlight Praise Kek & Kauket, yet another Lycopolis album stacked with Bangers!!!

In addition to causing one to Speak in Tongues while Eyeballs roll over to look at the back of the Head, this music is also capable of Levitating Pyramids.

It's been said before, but the Middle Eastern/Desert notes and rhythms work so damn well in the context of Black Metal, making this Hypnotic and Fully Engaging sound that just can't be beat!!!

May the Music of Lycopolis survive Millions of Years after the Earth!!!

I love black metal but for so long it was stagnant that it almost became generic then came along this band and my mind flipped over. This band needs to blow up I'm going to buy all their discog. this band is fucking legendary every release is better than the last. Fast, enchanting, dark, rhythmic and raw melodies are only some of the ways they can be described. Praise the ancient Anon council praise egyptian black metal and praise LYCOPOLIS. share their work, buy their merch and let-the-nameSOAR

  5. Blood Quantum Blues
    by TURIAN

    gleamingcube thumbnail
gleamingcube A pretty fascinating release. The band is able to pull off a variety of ideas in a cohesive, fun way. Thrashy riffing, industrial touches, and some slow brutal riffs collide with the most perfect rage filled vocals that truly encapsulate the frustration and desperation of the lyrics to make a memorable album. I could see this being popular with listeners across the hardcore/metal spectrum. Excited to hear more! Favorite track: Spill.
    Sammy Boy thumbnail
Sammy Boy Super cool, and totally worth a listen!

8/10 Favorite track: Blood Quantum Blues.
    Andrew thumbnail
Andrew This is such a cool album. They wear their influences well and weave it all together into a unique flavor of hardcore. If you ever wondered what a Sepultura hxc record might sound like, I have a feeling it'd be something like this.

A reliable disappointment Greasy when you want it, frenetic when you need it. Weighty, crusty and knuckle dragging death metal that has the heaviness of a peak Coffins riff but the reckless momentum of an Autopsy solo. Absolute banger.

Fred the Cat Authentic and archaic Heavy Metal with a somewhat simplistic charm. Even the soft accent of the singer sounds great.
    Would be even better live.
    bmurator thumbnail
bmurator Chinese / US Heavy Metal. This is a cross between NWOBHM & USPM. I definitely hear Judas Priest & Iron Maiden influences as well as many others... :) I am very much looking forward to this! Thanks Chariots Overdrive! Recommended! Favorite track: The End of Antiquity.

    Pashang 爬上 thumbnail
Pashang 爬上 RIP to the most influential darksynth artist I've ever encountered. This album and so many more have burned their way through my brain so many times, providing endless inspiration, catharsis, and pure head-banging enjoyment. Dark and heavy synth is forever lessened by his passing, and all I can say is buy everything he's ever done, support his family, his legacy, and drain a glass in his honor. Favorite track: Death in Bloom.

rtificial RIP king, glad to have caught you live whenever you rolled through. Enjoyed your music for years and will continue to enjoy your wealth of output.
    ◤✞ 𝕳𝖆𝖐𝖎𝖒 𝕭𝖔𝖞 ✞◥ thumbnail
◤✞ 𝕳𝖆𝖐𝖎𝖒 𝕭𝖔𝖞 ✞◥ Premise: I’m absolutely hooked on Valediction, but Rites of Love and Reverence hits even harder. I love how GOST’s sound evolved over the years. So Prophecy? Straight-up peak for me. The synthetic brutality has me blown away, and I can sing every melody, every synth lead. Totally vibing with that Wax Trax nostalgia. And let me just shout out the Ministry tribute with “Digital Death”—it’s like an episode from the Psalm 69 era TV series.
