Xtra Happy It's fucking El Huervo man, I shouldn't need to say any more than that. For those unaware though, press play and you're gonna start levitating immediately; they make some lovely trancey trip-hop soundscapes with sublime sampling work.

I'm not normally one to loop tracks persay; I've always been more of a 'full album listen over and over' type guy historically, but fuckin' *maaan* some of these tracks, like 'Resner' and 'Strugatz', are too fucking good not to, much like 'Rust' on "VanDereer". Favorite track: Esc But Found (Featuring Ratvader).
    mrboneman thumbnail
mrboneman what a wonderful work of art for us to feast into. El huervo is back with a bang, can't wait for the vinyls. Favorite track: Strugatz.
    epoctheafterburn thumbnail
epoctheafterburn this actually sounds so... unique in a way i barely am able to explain like the humming the sudden change in beat at the start is like wonderful. truly a masterpiece Favorite track: Dead Cities (Part 2).

althrioan Cool stuff. Laid back, chill.
It gets to you after a few really concentrated sessions.
    Really atmospheric.
    palehorse666 thumbnail
palehorse666 teaming up with Ratvader, another glitch hop artist I hadn't heard of yet, El Huervo manages to make a chill, somber soundtrack to some kind of bizarre ritual that is inexplicably El Huervo. Ratvader is also now a new favorite. a very emotional album. Favorite track: At Palolem Beach.

Xtra Happy I've seen MBR twice before live and both times were such a thrill ride. Immediately from the Ocean Loaders show intro with the C64 visual backdrop you know you're in for a good time.

Glad to finally have a full live album (I've been reliant on the couple of videos of full sets on MBR's YouTube for some time now, which I'd also still recommend). Still mad to me they do the VIRUS.DOS medley in full (it'd be a tall order to ask for something like 33MHz or CLUSTER 777...but here's to hoping haha). Favorite track: VIRUS.DOS (Live in Budapest).
    fakeghostpirate thumbnail
fakeghostpirate I bought this initially because I'm a completionist and can't live without owning an MBR album, however... this turned out to be so much better than I expected. Live albums usually don't hit me that hard, but something about this one is just extremely impressive and incredible. Even if you own all of these songs already, it's worth buying this album. Favorite track: ANSI.SYS (Live in Berlin).
    were-jaguar thumbnail
were-jaguar Seeing MBR in Portland was an experience I'll never forget. I never thought it would be true, but there I was---seeing MBR play live!!!!! AMAZING!!!
