Jeff Conner Brutal Melodic metal. Relentless and moody. Great singer. great band. They're probably broken up by now, but I do wish they'd drop something else. Favorite track: 12.09.05.

    sashavonkarl74 thumbnail
sashavonkarl74 I've read some really nasty reviews about this particular album, from "experts" and fans alike, how "Non Serviam" was so much better, etc. If you choose to ignore them, and give this album a listen, and stop comparing it with the band's past releases, you may find a really enjoyable Rotting Christ album, musically strong, with improvements possible on the lyrics side, ok, but I don't always say "no" if the lyrics are corny or deprived of meaning, or empty words. Who cares? I did not. Favorite track: Vetry Zlye.

spiderweb This band changed my life. I love all their work, but there's something really special about this quieter, stripped down album. It's great for contemplation. Favorite track: Helvegen (skaldic version).
    ambroisia thumbnail
ambroisia Apres avoir entendu cette magnifique mélodie, elle m'est restée dans la tete, plutard, je me suis surprise a la chantonner. Favorite track: Sonatorrek.

    felipe_serra thumbnail
felipe_serra I can't think of this as a soundtrack, but as a landscape or mirage, if you will. Paying attention, it becomes living. It goes places. Exuberant. Favorite track: Mechanism.
    Darknight thumbnail
Darknight Dancefloor filler is the absolute ultimate industrial killer. Front Line Assembly's awesome instrumental stunner. Favorite track: Heatmap.
    SUPRAQUENCER thumbnail
SUPRAQUENCER The sound design on Warmech is on a fine line between familiar and unexpected, giving it a tight and interesting vibe. It's a potent and evocative album that can hit you with some pretty weighty and cinematic synths. Warmech captures the sound of machines and knows how to immerse you in its world.
BTW, very cool cover art. Favorite track: Mechvirus.

sirtesticleezthethird Fantastic album, really pushes the genre and demonstrates a unique collection of sounds and styles. The vocal work in this album is on point as you come to expect from the wardruna frontman and Bjornson is a new found favorite of mine.
    Desdenova thumbnail
Desdenova Fine musicianship, gorgeous arrangements, and a rootsy, folky feel at times - I'd like see it performed live. Makes me want to learn norwegian. Favorite track: Hugsjá.
    jorie74 thumbnail
jorie74 The Norse ancestors rise up when this music plays - every time I have heard Einar perform live, profound spirits of the past are awakened in my ancestral memory, resplendent in their grief, toil, hope and joy... Favorite track: Um Heilage Fjell.

    Kråka thumbnail
Kråka Snake Pit Poetry is all i've come to expect from Einar Selvik and more. The music is mellow and filled with emotions and the vocals provided by Hilda nails the sensation completly and summons ethereal imagery of our archaic past. Drums, drums from the past. An excellent addition to any ironage playlist. Favorite track: Snake Pit Poetry - Skaldic Mode.
    goldenwombat thumbnail
goldenwombat Einar Selvik's music changed my life, it brought me back too my roots. This music has a power far beyond that of just sound waves it invokes the presence of the Gods. Favorite track: Snake Pit Poetry.
