  1. The Origin Of My Depression
    by Uboa

    nerdeater_noemi thumbnail
nerdeater_noemi The journey is rarely a clean and simple one. It's obscured by false starts, diluted by compromises you mistakenly thought were necessary, littered with pitfalls to halt and even reverse your progress. But isn't that true of everything that matters? Favorite track: An Angel of Great and Terrible Light.
    TaraFaeryn thumbnail
TaraFaeryn Good screaming on here, pairs pretty well with Lingua Ignota. I hope we get Sky May Be on vinyl. Favorite track: An Angel of Great and Terrible Light.

Paxter It's hard to say up front what I like about this album, how atmospheric it is? The dystopian yet endearing tone? It's cover? The entire vibe? I wouldn't know exactly what to say, other than this album is just ear candy (Maybe laced at that, in a charming and good way, yk?) tf am I saying? 😭 (lol) Favorite track: (They Call Me) Jimmy.

    Jascha Narveson thumbnail
Jascha Narveson The sounds of the Nordic shrimps going about their business has a similar cozy feeling to listening to rain on a window or a crackling fire. The sounds of the motors from near and distant boats are like soft ambient synth pads. The whole experience makes for a wonderful headphone space for me to live in.

magoski “Do you still dream in water?” she asks.
He nods—“only when it rains inside.”
Their words drift, slow like signal loss,, soft clicks between heartbeats.

    A drone hums overhead,
    its shadow stroking their faces.

“Are we free now?” she whispers.
He laughs, small, broken. “We’re just less afraid.”

    They share one headphone,
    listening to the city’s pulse—
    loops of breath,
    echoes of what could’ve been
    “Hold me,” she says.
    “I am,” he answers,
    “in the static.”
