Sam This EP really feels like a transitional moment where they are acknowledging their heavy psych past and embracing their current doomgaze/dream pop sound. I love it!
    Ocelo78 thumbnail
Ocelo78 I really like this EP. It's a bit of a different sound for the band, and I think it's a great new direction. It's difficult to evolve musically for many bands, but this is EP is exceptional! Love the fuzz and the careening notes. So dreamy and enthralling. Looking forward to more like this! Favorite track: Torn Reckless.
    Hombre Lobo thumbnail
Hombre Lobo Best evolution of their sound and songwriting - every track a gem, including the cover closer Favorite track: Fate Is Forward.

    valence_kevin thumbnail
valence_kevin A record that exemplifies an artist who has spent her life immersed in the radical liberation that comes from jacking claps and belching acidic churn. The Old School can rest easy, Scotia will take it from here.
    OJOS TODOS thumbnail
OJOS TODOS A nasty f-ing heater of an EP. "I Drink Your Milkshake" is trippy acid builder madness. Pure femdom edge from Scotia, Lauren Flax and Sister Zo. Can't wait to play it out! Favorite track: I Drink Your Milkshake.

Martel Meyers My first exposure to this artist, was this album. The distinct bass lines brought me in, and I’m here to stay.
    Harrison Phinney thumbnail
Harrison Phinney everything we love about Carla’s music is here, yet this record has a strong identity within her oeuvre. slightly more sunshine in the mix, more light-heartedness. the playful jaunt of “Tip Top” is particularly memorable. Carla’s music (imho) has always had a lot of post-punk and dub in its dna—this record leans a lot more in the dub direction. Favorite track: Under the Covers.
