Nocturnal Egg (Jordan) Les prêtres ont achevé leur ascèse, au point de "disparaître et ne plus être", (Yhdarl), de ne faire plus qu'un avec le cosmos — ou presque. Dans Grimdark Compendium I, première partie d'un diptyque, le dark ambiant est le seul acteur. Futuriste et extrêmement dépouillé, évitant la construction de mélodies ou de rythmes, il rend palpable la solitude existentielle. Et pourtant restent des chants résiduels ; les pistes, elles, n'arrivent pas à former des cycles harmonieux. L'absolu : impossible ? Favorite track: Arcadia-Thor.
