A decade since what came before, yet there’s still an appreciation for the reverb texture and vocal delivery that made salvia’s first project give itself character.
The biggest difference and advancement that I really like is the lean towards the dreamier sounds more directly; By eschewing the more experimental tape music thoughts that “Melanchole” had, “last chance to see” feels more focused, with a goal for its sound that it undeniably hits.
I’m hoping I end up seeing this alias used more.
