Piccarus Well worth the wait for a new album from EET! I do like the mix of songs with lyrics and non-lyrical music. I remember when “Persona” came out, I was listening to it on repeat. A lot has happened over the past few months and this album has helped me get through the toughest of moments.

codarobo I've had this album on repeat for weeks. The variety of styles showcased and richness of the production has me absolutely hooked. I've always thought of EET as synthwave-adjacent, and while this album fits right into that idea in my mind, each track has a wildly different interpretation on that concept, pulling it into drum and bass indie rock and hip hop and jazz, while keeping a hazy synth feel throughout.more...

esp_ A very clear ominous liminality is present throughout the music - an inbetween state bridging life and lack thereof. The opener, S.W.A.K, in all of its slushwave-esque sensibilities, is the closest the album ever gets to being lush or lively in that sense. Instead, any moments of vibrancy found within the song are not reminiscent of an organic life, but jolts of movement brought on by anemoic electricity - a static reimagining of what was once the bustling and nostalgia-ridden American 1980s.
