blackenedhalo The more I listen to it, the more I like it. While the album does not reach the heights of Eternal Hails, it is definitely better than Astral Fortress, but is it better than It Beckons Us All? Pity that every song contains some uninspiring riffs which we have already heard like a thousand times before, because there is also a lot of unique parts. But in general a very enjoyable album. But for Satan's sake, Fenriz, if you want to sing, then take some lessons, because your singing is attrocious.
    Favorite track: Siberian Thaw.

    Jonathon Smith thumbnail
Jonathon Smith There's so much to like about Distances, but "Dead Stars" seems especially magical to me. Catchy and perhaps a bit nostalgic, The band sounds so much better than it needs to at this point in its career. Favorite track: Dead Stars.
