  1. And Yet It's All Love

    DJ V From CHICAGO thumbnail
DJ V From CHICAGO I'm a legit Fatima fan, so choosing from amongst this consistently solid body of work is a task, but this particular song stands out the most. Very nice album through and through. MORE PLEASE. 💣💣🔥🔥🙏🙏🌟🌟🌟🌟 Favorite track: Movie.

andrew. So consistent. The wait was hella worth it. Favorite track: Attention Span of a Cookie.
    Edward thumbnail
Edward And Yet It's All Love picks up where the classic Yellow Memories left off, more modern production, funkier rhymes, varied styles. No surprise this is being played all over and praised by music heads like Gilles Peterson. What makes Fatima so special isn't just her voice, but that she's got a funk/style/edge to her and her music. Big up Alex Nut and Eglo for spreading joy through music and to Fatima for making art in an unforced manner and giving us a glimpse into her life and soul. It's all ❤

    Stephen Savage thumbnail
Stephen Savage Suspended in an endless loop: confusing and unending, disassociated from this earth into the cosmic Favorite track: Beyond Dialogue.
    boreana thumbnail
boreana Whole album is invigorating and powerful, perfectly combining all instruments into a warm composition. Beyond Dialogue is my favorite: intense and melodic at the same time. It shows its full potential live and loud. Thank you, Portico Quartet. Favorite track: Beyond Dialogue.

kaosskid I love this album so much that buying it on Juno was not enough. I can't wait to listen to it so I bought it here too. It is utterly fantastic! Alex just keeps getting better and better with every album he puts out. Thank you so much for these sonic gems! If you haven't already click "buy", you won't be disappointed! Favorite track: Nilwella.
    veldusi thumbnail
veldusi Whereas "Allambie" (2024) felt like a self-contained magical place, "Hiriketiya" feels more like openair soundstage where I would expect artists like Peter Gabriel and Paul Simon to turn up with their on-the-road Athens/Graceland collective, yet followed up by a more contemporary freestyle producer/dj such as Simon Mills (Bent).

Is it because the first track has a bassline somewhat familiar to the outro of Pete's and Kate's "Don't give up"?

Anyway, Alex Albrecht is a great alchemist. Favorite track: Intervals.

Svebbe Following up the 'Passionfruit EP' from 2024, Parris leans further into house music without losing his signature touch. It's another testament to the high-quality output of the label he runs with Call Super.
