Funk and groove knee-deep in the loam
A little clay squishing between the toes
While supping on the pure drop
With heads in the clouds
Gazing up at the firmament
The tunes rise

AOTY contender. Insane musicianship, some tunes almost ambient, others, as another commenter has said, possessing the rhythm and intensity of club bangers. I love how they don't just play a tune the standard 2 or 3 times but sometimes 5 or 6, which gives some sets an almost trance-like quality.

Very unique sound! Love the pairing of instruments, especially with Cormac's assortment of strange concertinas.

Stunning recordings with incredible immersive clarity. There are stories within them, narratives that you can pick up in the music of the birdsong or the humming insects. Murmuration is an intense pulsing experience.

Amazing piping, been listening to it non stop since the release. It has made me practice more but also realise I started 20 years too late haha

Sometimes an EP takes you somewhere in your mind you’ve never been before. This one felt like a whole road trip on its own. Beautiful, groovy, dreamy... Sam Goku keeps finding that perfect balance between warmth, rhythm and atmosphere.

I've always admired Tony Linnanes fiddle playing and its just great to get an album putting his playing to the forefront. Lovely 🫶🏼
