    by Sarah Blasko
    supported by
    pacific rim progressive rock thumbnail
pacific rim progressive rock Sarah Blasko has previously shown her power and precision in duets with Boy & Bear (Southern Sun) and Paul Dempsey (Distant Sun). The dialogical duet Goodbye! is a triumph on the new album I Just Need to Conquer This Mountain (both on the recorded and the live versions). Favorite track: Goodbye! (featuring Jack Ladder) - Live At The Factory Theatre.

    by Björk
    supported by
    lunadonna thumbnail
lunadonna Fossora completes what Biophilia started, transforming a personal journey into a universal one. I really think this is the most selfless record she has ever made, her voice being "just" one piece of the whole sonic puzzle - neither more nor less important than the rest. Fossora sounds both like an antidote to narcissism and an ode to the interconnectedness of all beings living in the universe, perhaps in a more cohesive way if compared to Biophilia, which in my view already was a masterpiece. Favorite track: Victimhood.
    hibernia thumbnail
hibernia Classic range of Björk sounds.
Her most personal album, in my opinion- more of Björk the indivudual and less of the enigmatic artist. But where should the divide be? :)
Happy for her sharing of personal emotions, sad for the dissolution of an artists' mystery?
Question mark for tone, great album. Favorite track: Ancestress.
    Lavinie Cloutier thumbnail

Michael Meara Without a doubt one of the best albums I have had the pleasure of hearing. Emily's voice is so warm and inviting. The music is mixed to perfection, providing a dark and involving melancholic beauty. I cannot recommend this album enough. An essential and astounding work.

    elleplay thumbnail
elleplay Hopeful songs about relationships, broken hearts, loss and growing stronger. This album makes me want to fall in love despite the risks of pain that come with the territory. The words and music tell us the rewards of love are not guaranteed that there will always be night and day, gain and loss. Thank you Sarah and band, a stunningly beautiful performance ❤️ Favorite track: Night & Day.

    ronzakpro thumbnail
ronzakpro Once Twice Melody is a beautiful and melancholic album about a love affair. (At least that's the interpretation I got from it.) I love how this album has a full sound to it. It makes it feel very lively. That's what made me adore 7 so much. Favorite track: Finale.
    Portis thumbnail
Portis Exactly what I was hoping for from Beach House at this point. Extravagant, stars on your bedroom ceiling. Ballroom romance, first loves, last loves, ageless. Full, lively production, bass, lots of fabulous variety, all while maintaining the core BH DNA that I love.

craig munro I never really "got" Vulnicura until I heard this version of Black Lake. A perfect, beautiful depiction of utter despair. Favorite track: Black Lake (Live With Strings).
