Giles the textures and contrasts and the way it all flows in a beautiful space are such satisfying sonic magic
    Michael Upton (Jet Jaguar) thumbnail
Michael Upton (Jet Jaguar) mHz's typically spartan use of sound for maximum effect. The three tracks stand up entirely on their own, but also work really well as an album listened through end-to-end.

Giles Absolutely gorgeous drones that shimmer and sparkle and needle in so many satisfying ways. Analog magic, exactly what I need right now

⧪ ⁿ* ⧻ ⧴ Warm and atmospheric shimmering states, twilight, post-psychedelic and hypnotic drones. Fragile and powerful spaces at the same time. And the time bends.

Finn of Tomland I must say that i think Zimoun has taken on the WDO in a way that is very him through both his creative and genuine exploration of this instrument and what it's capable of.
And after that time consuming process, he produced these 2 perfectly honed tracks that reverberate through the space of the church and that adds a further organic flow into thin air.
This is a very highly recommended release.

⧪ ⁿ* ⧻ ⧴ I love how this work doesn't go anywhere yet keeps slowly changing and unfold wide rooms and spaces... I loose myself in the breathing sounds... Reductionism and Minimalism merch into kind of psychedelic states somehow ... hypnotic. The organ is breathing... feeling its physical presence and I can almost touch the air flow around the pipes... the album is bending space and time. Favorite track: One.

Omaan My favorite upsammy LP so far. Sounds like a newborn baby, a fresh start, a moment where you can just throw all history away and focus on those first seconds of so called 'life', like standing on top of the highest mountain peak you can think of- breathing the purest possible air. It's gotten me in tears, literally. Favorite track: Cosmo.
    ruoho thumbnail
ruoho Lapis Manalis generates utterly massive frissons. Enunciated, gorgeously julienned, dulcimer melodies. Dissected orchestral figures and haunting wild, textural ephemera that hearkens back to botanical film interludes of yore. Intoxicating!!! Favorite track: Lapis Manalis.
