Mabel What a great re-imagining. I've been a NIN fan for a while, and when trying to find covers, I found this album. I didn't think The Great Destroyer would work well with calm instrumentals, but it does. Allie's voice is perfect for the songs. Right Where It Belongs changes entirely from Trent's original version. janx218 I've been a fan of Allie Goertz for over a decade, but I have to admit when I learned she was recording a NIN cover album, I wasn't sure what to expect. I wondered if there would be a degree of irony involved. But I was blown away by the finished product. Peeled Back is earnest, impeccably-produced, and often downright beautiful. Allie's lilting, delicate voice makes these songs feel brand new and achingly gorgeous in a way that I never could have imagined. I can't recommend it enough.
