  1. Other Worlds And Habitats
    by The Sorcerers
    supported by
    Brian Parker thumbnail
Brian Parker Jazzier. LOVE that funky ass Arp! Favorite track: Ancestral Machines.
    Lute FP thumbnail
Lute FP Ethio jazz meets Lounge Lizards. This is oh so fucking good.
    Carsten Pieper thumbnail
Carsten Pieper The Sorcerers combine their Ethio jazz roots with a nice space age vibe on their latest album. Summer places remind me of the Budos Band (e.g. the opener, Echos of Earth) and in my opinion, that's always a good thing ;-) Favorite track: Abandoned Satellites.

sandwoodman Absolutely! Mulatu is on top form here, revisiting himself with enthusiasm. Outstanding music, essential jazz.
    Jonathan Clarke thumbnail
Jonathan Clarke Dexter Story really brings out the best of everyone (check out his solo lp’s) and Mulatu clearly enjoys playing with this talented young band. Sheer musical delight throughout
    Roger Huddle thumbnail
Roger Huddle Great album. Who are the musicians apart from Mulatu.

    Light breeze

    I still can't help
    but feel
    the forces
    that forged
    this
    morning's
    possibilities
    are
    melncholy
    and regret
    wishful thinking
    wishing you didn't say
    what you said
    last night
    knowing you'll not
    forgive
    or forget
    and that's the regret
    the lack of empathy and
    compassion
    that makes
    this all so possible.
    Because it's here.
    In this morning's
    daybreak
    eyes
    turned away.

Meinert Hansen I wish I could be on a sailboat in the 1960s, listening to this album watching the sun go down behind a Mediterranean island. Beautiful cinematic music! Favorite track: Still Moorings.

    haxk_not_hacks thumbnail
haxk_not_hacks New ska for new fascism. Favorite track: Last Call in America (Featuring George Clinton).
    richnice1975 thumbnail
richnice1975 I love this new record! It's definitely a return to form for the band (ironically, considering the only remaining originals are Angelo and Chris, plus Spacey-T and some new members), and reminiscent of some of their best work from the 80s! Not a bad song on the record! My favorites include "Dog Eat Dog", "Adolescent Regressive Behavior", "Living on the Upside Down", "Gelato the Clown", and the beautiful and Beatlesque "Love is Love", where Chris Dowd sounds like Jeff Buckley. Favorite track: Dog Eat Dog.
    Cyril Glaume thumbnail
Favorite track: Suckered By Sabotage.

kasya_em All tracks are awsome 🍄🍄🍄 Favorite track: Pleśniak.
    rvss.eel thumbnail
rvss.eel Błoto has a unique sound that leans in different directions, but Grzyby sounds exactly like it came from the same sessions as Grzybnia, meaning it's more of a great thing (they also say so, so I'm not breaking any news here). I would say it leans slightly toward the more chill end of the vibes on that album. The first four songs are full of creative, well-produced beats, and the ten minute closer is another of the same, but extends into a smooth, repetitive flow that could go on for ten more. Favorite track: Pleśniak.
    Nate Stevens thumbnail
Nate Stevens What a groove!! Favorite track: Pleśniak.
