    Absolute Zero thumbnail
Absolute Zero The only other thing that hit me with similar bombastic, bat-shit intensity recently was the latest release from Demon Bitch, particularly with the gang shouts. This is the right kind of weird metal.
    dcdirkzwager thumbnail
dcdirkzwager When I put this on and the vocals kicked in I started laughing. Well, I cackled would be more accurate. It was a cackle of joy though. I am guessing this is an acquired taste, but if you like metal, these vocals should be appreciated if you ask me.

    Ches Trulson This fucken RIPS!

Can we get the lyrics pls? Favorite track: Blighted Deity.

    _shadowstorm_ thumbnail
_shadowstorm_ Nothing on here is as good as the top tracks from God Machine, but most of the time you can tell where they're heading and occasionally they get it right. At its best when it departs from the musical/theatre genre, where it sounds formulaic (and the choirs are out of tune), and strays into the heavier, more 'cinematic' metal from God Machine. Favorite track: Prophecies.
    Mailanka thumbnail
Mailanka This heavy metal rock opera is a triumph, an amazing and unique sound in the heavy metal sonoscape. A Blind Guardian must-have. Favorite track: Distant Memories.
    9RnK7 thumbnail
9RnK7 I've always had a soft spot for this album and thought it was criminally underrated in their discography. As always the bards paint a wonderful atmosphere and move me with their emotional melodies. While the story of the album is hard to follow/understand at times the whole album flows seamlessly on a musical level. Favorite track: Grand Parade.

    Henrik Thøgersen thumbnail
Henrik Thøgersen Putting out albums for 25 years and then dropping one this potent, radiating raw energy, brimming with inspired ideas, and utterly overflowing with memorable songs is beyond amazing. It’s a damn triumph! Favorite track: Deliver Us From Evil.

    Operatore #666 thumbnail
Operatore #666 A journey into the darkest, most sinister, and sickest side of mysticism. Experimental black metal that tells a story of sacrifice, strength of spirit, and grandeur, or a tale of delirium and delusion, depending on the interpretation. The vocals are fairly consistent with the genre's standards, but the music often varies in tone, tending to be more experimental and blending black metal with elements from other genres. Favorite track: Dead to the World.
    Nocturnal Egg (Jordan) thumbnail
Magistral ! Favorite track: Dead to the World.
    Urso X thumbnail
Urso X If the incandescent Fire, Magic & Venom was essentially an aural talisman, aptly-titled Majestas is nothing less than a declaration of spiritual warfare. A more focused effort than the sprawling Igitur (appropriate, given its theme of disciplined self-annihilation), this swirling, ritualistic, and indelibly avant-garde record is genuinely magnificent stuff. But as Matten implied, it's also a bit of a grower, so be sure to give it time to sink its proboscis into you 🦟 Favorite track: Organs Dissolved in Lacquer.

Jana Mountains and Lakes - this song felt upon my ears and pervaded my entire being. It caught me, held me and cut me into millions of pieces. I forgot how to breath and my heart swell in pure joy. Favorite track: Mountains And Lakes.
    9RnK7 thumbnail
9RnK7 This is not actually the side project of Summoning, however they do have the same name. What you will find here is black metal that moves you and isn't afraid to explore wide emotional plains. Favorite track: Winter Path.
