_shadowstorm_ Nothing on here is as good as the top tracks from God Machine, but most of the time you can tell where they're heading and occasionally they get it right. At its best when it departs from the musical/theatre genre, where it sounds formulaic (and the choirs are out of tune), and strays into the heavier, more 'cinematic' metal from God Machine. Favorite track: Prophecies.
Mailanka This heavy metal rock opera is a triumph, an amazing and unique sound in the heavy metal sonoscape. A Blind Guardian must-have. Favorite track: Distant Memories.

As always the bards paint a wonderful atmosphere and move me with their emotional melodies.
