Carsten Pieper As the Norwegians have a very high winter-per-inhabitant ratio, they obviously are good about winter stuff, as we can see in the current Winter Olympics. So, it's not that surprising that esteemed soundsmith Erik Wøllo doesn't disappoint with this wintry release. Very recommended if you like to chill-out in glacial landscapes of the mind and such.... Gary Figueroa After several listens to this EP I've concluded that Marconi Union has accomplished a solid release on these four tracks. There is a distinctive tempo to this EP that creates an ambient percussive electronic vibration I much enjoy. Marconi Union is a stand out in the EM genre which attracts me to their music and development deservedly. - @daFigz™ Favorite track: Burned Out.
PlayItLoud!!! Labeled as Ambient, but in this case a little "techno-pep" is added in the exact right amount. Adventurous electronic music in the "upper" range is how I would like to describe it. Clever guys... Favorite track: Mossfield (58).
