This double ep opens with a crushing and cinematic epic of prog/psych to stir the soul, but holy shit Dream State Return is the standout here, taking Elder to uncharted territory and just building so much energy between the synths, drums and distorted riffs that you can feel the G-force.
From what's been released from Through Zero so far, this ep feels like a huge milestone in the band's evolution.
Can we talk about the gorgeous covert art too? The legacy of Roger Dean <3
