ptrhw I'm not sure a pop record will ever be better than this. I am not exaggerating. I've listened to this record once a week since it's dropped. It has never ceased to blow me the hell away. Favorite track: Seeing Red.

mgerharr86 When can we expect the LP release?
    icetonic thumbnail
icetonic You guys are my best new band discovery this year! This album captured and hooked me immediately with its genre-defying mix of electronic, psychedelic, poppy and proggy elements, combined into extremely catchy but still very rich and intricate soundscapes, and disguised in something that sounds almost like it could go mainstream. Amazing!

dr_shaun I've been listening to this album regularly for eight months now, and I desperately wish I could experience it again for the first time. Absolute magic - quirky, nuanced, and heavy af. Favorite track: apples.
    pablo6580 thumbnail
pablo6580 Offbeat, intelligent, melodic and yet unbelievably heavy when they want to be. Hard edged indie/synth/hardcore at its best. This album is another step on from Royal Swan (itself fantastic). And the live show is great too...I just wish they could have played longer (although I may have gone deaf if they had).

Fave track is serpentsdripfromtheskies, but they're all excellent.
    Wiscious thumbnail
Wiscious I first discovered PhoxJaw when I happened upon their set at Download Festival 2023(?) - I was blown away, they are the first band I’ve seen live that I didn’t know about and immediately loved. I’ve been to so many gigs and I’ve toured myself and these guys are the first.
Bear in mind, I’ve been doing this since the early 1990’s.
Absolutely fantasy band and I struck up a relationship with them also, lovely people.
    Spookydux thumbnail
Spookydux absolutely fucking phenomenal record. just, magical really. one of those albums you listen to and wish you were in the band

    Deidre House thumbnail
Deidre House Jazz fusion meets punk rock and avant-garde, in the best way possible... this music is certifiably insane. Definitely one of the more original groups active today. Shout out and thanks to Xavier from Ghost Rhythms for the recommendation!
    Dragan Cekic thumbnail
    Dragan Cekic Schnellertollermeier-X

In the last ten years Cuneiform Records and Rune Grammofon became most prolific issuers of experimental/progressive/jazz/avant-garde/fusion music on the planet Earth. This latest addition to Cuneiform catalog is absolute monster of an album. Brain orgasmic music. Very dense avant-garde jazz that fires on all twelve cylinders. Similar to Guapo-Five Suns also on Cuneiform Records.
    Mark: 8/10

    Recommended listening after Schnellertollermeier:

    by Nadja

    Harold N’Hiver thumbnail
Harold N’Hiver One of Nadja’s finest records. Melodic and repetitive, with more hooks than a typical Nadja album. Easy to get logged in your head for a few days. But it still has that droning doomgaze heaviness, to give it a meditative, nearly trance-inducing feel. Harkens back to the vibe of the first Nadja album, Truth Becomes Death, which is, of course, a classic.

I used to have the LP but it took some water damage, with a bunch of my vinyl, so I am more than happy to buy it again.
    kaelumchee thumbnail
kaelumchee I love how Nadja paradoxically makes the most intense and noisy yet hypnagogic and strangely calming music on this planet. Their music feels like a weighted blanket made of thorns (in the best way possible). Queller is certainly another masterpiece of theirs. Favorite track: Quell.
    Sam thumbnail
Sam Queller finds Nadja incorporating more hooks into their drone doom style. One of my favs from them! Favorite track: Dark Circles.

Dr. M This is a life changing and epic album, so much texture and mood. Fans of Portishead will find comfort here with this specific album. But dont stop, sunshine radio and Road to knowwhere are also welcome additions to ones collection of excellent instrumental albums. Im personally glad to have found TG’s music and Im looking forward to hearing this on vinyl. Thanks for adding this stock to Bandcamp, the people rejoice 🙌 Thank you Tommy and I wish you blessings on all your endeavors!
    neon_void thumbnail
neon_void One of my favorite albums in my collection. I love the Western vibe of the album, and nothing beats driving through a desert while listening to it. So glad I got the chance to grab it on vinyl too! Favorite track: The Lone Pistolero.

Alphonso Acosta enjoyed it all. Favorite track: Hombre Sin Nombre.

Dr. Beaf Progressive rock that's tastefully aggressive. The drumming is incredible as it really holds it all together and is consistently different in method for each track. Melodies crescendo as rough bridges full of guitar space burst in, playing with feedback and distortion to great results. Mostly instrumental, mainly fast paced and thoroughly terrific. Favorite track: All Our Ends.

Ghuughra Bubbly, energetic math rock. Makes a nice palette cleanser after a steady diet of distortion, rock-grinder vocals, and general nihilism. Don't forget to attend to your mental health guys. Favorite track: firebird.
