    mariothealien_ Very very good!
    Brent Davis thumbnail
Brent Davis BELEXUM have that dark magik I'm always looking for - and this is death metal that sounds like flesh & blood human beings made it (i.e. that there was minimal technological assistance involved).

    Beautiful. Splendid. Highly recommended.

    🤘✌️🖤🇿🇦

PS: the vocals (an intelligible, gravelly growl) really do it for me... Favorite track: Fleshwagon of Bones and Teeth.
    Metallurgical Fire thumbnail
Metallurgical Fire Urso and Brent have it right. The organic, perfect production from Sasha Stroud ignites Nicole Dunn’s drum performance especially, and makes this debut quite addictive after a few listens. Hopefully the band will stay active and we’ll get a full album soon.

  4. Visions Beyond The Ape Cave
    by Birdlegs
    supported by
    Everyday Balloons thumbnail
Everyday Balloons kind of mad I only found out about this by accident. It feels wrong to compare this to Nerve Agents, but Eric's voice is so distinct you can't help but hear their DNA in this. Hearing him perform again is so welcome, and this album is a pallette cleanser for everything disgusting going on in the outside world. If you loved NA, Burn, or Jade Puget's work on the newest AFI LP this might be your album of the year. Favorite track: Devils Own Grip.

    Jono Schneider thumbnail
Jono Schneider Insanely heavy, likely your time is up Favorite track: Mad Man and the Sea.
    Dave Aftandilian thumbnail
Dave Aftandilian It’s rare to hear such intricate ritualistic aspects on a death metal album, and they truly push Skaphos’s music to another level. The muscular black metal elements also punch hard in the listener’s gut and face, commanding attention and fear of the many horrors that lurk at the edges of our everyday perceptions. And the doom elements highlight the feeling of slow-creeping, inescapable horrors.
    dave999 thumbnail
dave999 why I love this record?! because you can easy listen to it as a whole without skip a single Track. Atmosphere is amazing. listened to the Album while chilling in the bathtube. fits perfect!

hellbendervinyl Heck yeah Ceremony of Silence! The vinyl pressing for this record was lovingly handled by Hellbender Vinyl (hellbendervinyl.com) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Put it on your turntable and let it ride! Favorite track: Primaeval Sacrifice.
Brett (Lascaille's Shroud / Soulmass) thumbnail
Brett (Lascaille's Shroud / Soulmass) An incredible accomplishment, a stellar album from start to finish. Favorite track: Moon Vessel.
    𝙑𝙖𝙚𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙨 thumbnail
𝙑𝙖𝙚𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙨 Good gods above this is album is absolutely incredible. Amazing, cleverly composed blackened dissodeath with a perfect balance of soaring, twisted melody and furious, claustrophobic riffing. Last time I was floored like this was when I first heard Ad Nauseam's debut. Esoteric Indo-European subject matter only deepens my fascination with this album.

After one listen this climbed into my top 10 of all time for sure. Favorite track: Light Runs Through Light.

  4. Come, Sweet Death
    by Imperishable
    supported by
    Bart thumbnail
Bart Really well done Swedish death metal. Reminds me of Dismember with a touch of the death-n-roll that Entombed employed in later albums. Some great riffs in songs like "Perennial Desire" and "Fangs", but I'm partial to the straight ahead bulldozer of "Infernal Lust". Favorite track: Infernal Lust.
    mourner thumbnail
mourner Fast, catchy and brutal. Melodies and riffs without end. Perfect Swedish death metal. Very well done, Imperishable, and with lots of great musicianship. Headbanging material everywhere and tons of fun to have with Come, Sweet Death. Favorite track: Fangs.
    IDE thumbnail
IDE Fast and aggressive Swedish death metal with some impressive melodic moments. Fans of Dismember and proto-melodeath will definitely enjoy this one. ★

    Jammer_on_the_street thumbnail
Jammer_on_the_street The new heirs to the epic metal throne! A flurry of both speedy and doomy riffs, melodic guitar interplay, an inventive rhythm section, and haunting vocals merge into a coherent whole with depth, ferocity, and grace. Up the Hammers and Hail the Goddess! Favorite track: Path of Witchery.
    Reginald Christmas thumbnail
Reginald Christmas The drummer absolutely losing his mind this entire track fills my soul with life Favorite track: The Talisman and the Blade.

Brent Davis not unlike a very enthusiastic blunt instrument attack to the cranium, but very enjoyably so.

    ขอบคุณ ECCHYMOSIS!

🖤🤘🇿🇦 Favorite track: Ceremonial Savagery Over Calculated Viscerogouging.
    cellar door thumbnail
cellar door I liked this more than I expected to given how I initially felt about the production (not bad, it’s just different in contrast to their previous work) but this is their first release that’s truly hooked me. Polwach is so gnarly on the kit, for me, his playing here is scratching that itch his performance on the Cadavoracity self-titled infected me with. The riffs are always catchy and that vocal intro is v tuff. The bass playing/presence here is seriously addicting too ! Favorite track: Ceremonial Savagery Over Calculated Viscerogouging.
