sharklostworld would've been really interesting if they decided to leave Bela Lugosi's Dead on the cutting room floor and just release the other more punkish tracks from this as their first release. i wonder how goth would have turned out in that alternate reality Favorite track: Some Faces.

Finn of Tomland I think that it's great that Taylor Deupree and Zimoun has joined forces and together explored and experimented with the sound and the possibility of the sound that the WDO produces on this total gem of an album because it adds a further sonic dimension to this instrument and what actually can be done with it.
And when 2 sonic maestros like these are at work you get this fantastic release with total aural bliss in 6 parts.
    A must have.
    guy peeters thumbnail
guy peeters nice to hear a fine ambient piece !
    Rays of wisdom thumbnail
Rays of wisdom I really love when ambient music doesn't have such an explicit melody but just gives you an atmosphere, without forcing you to vibe to it. Favorite track: Deviation I.
    ⧪ ⁿ* ⧻ ⧴ thumbnail
⧪ ⁿ* ⧻ ⧴ The fact that these two albums, both based on the Wind Dynamic Organ, are being released simultaneously yet independently of each other is very interesting. They somehow belong together, but function as independent works. Zimoun's solo album is very pure and direct, while these works here in collaboration with Taylor Deupree delve microscopically into the depths of the organ sounds and transport us into fascinating, vast soundscapes. Stunning works! Favorite track: Deviation I.

Finn of Tomland I must say that i think Zimoun has taken on the WDO in a way that is very him through both his creative and genuine exploration of this instrument and what it's capable of.
And after that time consuming process, he produced these 2 perfectly honed tracks that reverberate through the space of the church and that adds a further organic flow into thin air.
This is a very highly recommended release.
    ⧪ ⁿ* ⧻ ⧴ thumbnail
⧪ ⁿ* ⧻ ⧴ I love how this work doesn't go anywhere yet keeps slowly changing and unfold wide rooms and spaces... I loose myself in the breathing sounds... Reductionism and Minimalism merch into kind of psychedelic states somehow ... hypnotic. The organ is breathing... feeling its physical presence and I can almost touch the air flow around the pipes... the album is bending space and time. Favorite track: One.
