Mike / Avant Music News What Eighth Tower Records has quietly achieved with this series is a reliable method for making abstraction visceral. The result is thirteen different perspectives on subterranean dread, unified roughly by style but more by a shared commitment to finding meaning in atmosphere. This is another strong entry in a strong series.

johnly93 Listening to this album feels the same way as playing Elder Scrolls games as a teen. Amazing range from happy inn music to more melancholic, subtler songs. Favorite track: Dance of the Rain Folk.
    Robert Paulovic thumbnail
Robert Paulovic Great dungeon synth / fantasy synth. Definitely worth to support it if you are fans of Fief / DIM or Descort. More of your music please.

Kevin-Secret Collector I took the time to listen to it more than once, and it is a real gem.
Beautiful and melancholic, it has a cosy vibe but still manages to be very dynamic at times.

In the top of my list of best album of 2026 for sure ! Favorite track: Autumnal Sorcery.

Kevin-Secret Collector This is a high quality improvisation here ! Swordcerer goes back to the roots of Dungeon Synth but still keeping his style. A very strong first album, to be enjoyed multiple times !

Ps : The Black Castle at Juniper track is a bliss, it illustrates perfectly why I fell in love with Dungeon Synth Favorite track: The Black Castle at Juniper.

    A3XN 7.0/10
    "Dungeon/Synth" minimalist, inspiring and nostalgic.

All musical pieces contain fantasy-themed titles:
Spells, landscapes or feelings of warriors :-)

The cover image is beautiful and worthy of praise.

    Recommended artist :-)

    Negative points:
    - Album duration is too short :-(
    - A lot of background noise, lack of better handling of audio filters or capture equipment :-(
    Favorite track: Siege.
