colton_p What a fascinating album. I'm not super into David Bazan...yet. This is my first taste of him really. I like it! Headphones sounds a lot different than anything im used to, and it has a couple really good songs on it! Favorite track: Wise Blood (2025 Remaster).

johnnyJM3 Perfect lyrics, perfect pivot from the Pedro/Bazan guitar stylings, yet still remain an essential Bazan album Favorite track: Natural Disaster (2025 Remaster).

ratchetplane91 Found this through Yoga with Adriene's YouTube channel and I couldn't be more grateful. I am so glad I've been introduced to this band! Favorite track: Hard Wired.
    Rhino thumbnail
Rhino this album is very fun, he still has his country-style roots but incorporates more technicalities as well as variation in style within this album, from classic country, lo-fi style folk, to rock. warms my heart and stimulates my brain. Favorite track: If Not For You.

Keith "MuzikMan" Hannaleck My Complete Review Is Here: www.surfmusicandart.com/2025/07/whitesandsep.html

White Sands has crafted a captivating collection of tracks and made the most impact possible for a short EP release. Their sound can be complex and shifting; however, I found it highly entertaining and would look forward to a full-length album with more of the exotica elements mixed in.

Charlie Byers This was really my favorite album of last year. I saw Dean Johnson open for Kurt Vile right before this one came out, and I was hooked. smart, gorgeous songwriting and a lot of style. like Gene Autry doing Paul Simon covers, or something. "Dad music" in the best way.
    vivilockbox thumbnail
vivilockbox Such a wonderful album! This slightly tops the previous album, but both have an extremely unique feel. I continue to look forward to more!! Favorite track: The Man in the Booth.
