Their harmonized guitars and haggard vocals communicate true longing hiding underneath all the chaos. To have their whole discography available to the world for free like this seems downright criminal. Favorite track: Dos Mundos.

Jesse Mowery absolutely one of the best and most influential neocrust bands, so amazing to hear this stuff remastered Favorite track: Disfrazando La Piel Del Miedo Y La Aflicción.

colonycollapsexvx The (nearly) complete remastered discography of the best neocrust band in history. Their first LP in particular is the blueprint for perfect emocrust. Favorite track: Manos Que Estrechan Planes De Muerte Y Sometimiento.

Caizoe An album of sheer power and mastery, crafted with great care, both in its structure and its riffs. The climax is reached with the track Lecherous Angles, whose insane progression culminates in Corvus’s frenzied, unhinged screams. One of the best BM album of 2026 for me so far. Favorite track: Lecherous Angels.

Urso X This has snagged an early spot on my 2026 list. Why? First, it SLAYS. FOR. DAYS. Second, its connections to a trio of acts I adore (Cult of Erinyes, Wolvennest, Oerheks). Third, Déhà behind the boards 😎 Lastly, it slakes my thirst for full-throated infernality without the fashy pedigree that often afflicts similar releases. A top-pocket find! Favorite track: The Weakness of our Cycle.

AlexP The demo was a promise, the album is a confirmation of that: haunted, cursed, and an exceptional vocalist (a rare thing in this style where voices are neglected and often sound more like pig cries than the doors of the curse)

RJ Fluisteraars have put out fairly unique blackgaze album here with ‘Bloem.’ The pacing and added horns give a slight dip into the avant-garde. Start to finish it’s a solid offering. 7/10 Favorite track: Nasleep.

Andrew Godsalve One of those albums where, when it’s over, you just have to sit in silence and marvel at what you just heard. Easily one of the best atmo BM albums ever. Describing the music seems inadequate but suffice to say Fluisteraars know that great riffs become phenomenal riffs when the drumming is this masterful. Combine that with vocals so impassioned and impactful to be nigh terrifying. Every movement of this album is the opening of another sublime and dizzying vista. A spiritual experience.
