Paul Osborne
More 80s-esque synth-pop from The Gasman, but with a 'warmer' feel than the action-packed Aeriform. Reminds me of the end of the Radiophonic Workshop and of British Transport Films when both were dabbling with then new synth technology. Some gorgeous melodic layering throughout, 'Setback' especially, plus some trademark playfulness - the unashamedly jaunty 'Course'. The overall feel is that of a promo film soundtrack for something new & whizzy. Just lovely!
