I've been following Havok since their first album 'Burn" and it has the same exquisite taste with a simpler recipe: social criticism, against the oppressors, in favor of liberty, and, finally, doing Thrash the way i like: fast & furious.

BUT, what Havok did best was the innovation, creating their own style, upgrading' the old sound, starting some kind of 'New Wave of Thrash', without losing the typical claims in the lyrical aspect

naasty Had the CD when it came out, lost that. then downloaded a really shitty rip from limewire or something and that's the only non-vinyl copy I've had for years. Yesterday my brother told me Brent died and it hit closer than I would have thought. This music had a huge impact on me when i was younger and I am finally getting a legitimate digital copy.
