  1. Goodness
    by The Hotelier
    supported by
    Jesse thumbnail
Jesse I love emo, but it can sometimes take itself way too seriously about topics that are actually so light as to be ridiculous (take Heart Tattoo by Joyce Manor). The Hotelier, especially on this album, is a serious exploration of serious topics. But not only that, it’s done well, it sounds good, it’s catchy and memorable and I find myself unable to stay away from these songs for too long. Favorite track: Two Deliverances.

Michael Keerdo-Dawson Moody. menacing and atmospheric avant-garde pop/electronic rock. Darkness creeps under the surface of all twelve tracks. An impressive piece of work that gets better with repeat listening. Favorite track: Tearin' Up A House.

This is the best album I've heard in a long time... so creative and so unique. So dark. This band deserves 1000x more followers. I wish at least there were lyrics somewhere.
