Rally Reminds me of the times in life when you've finally chosen to fully accept a difficult situation, and the grief and freedom that comes along with it. Made me unexpectedly emotional. Favorite track: What Next.

  2. Promises
by Floating Points, Pharoah Sanders & The London Symphony Orchestra

    onetr thumbnail
onetr A strong showing in minimalist classical in its own right, made even more interesting by the fact that this is Pharaoh Sanders' last appearance in music ever.

Side B kicks off with an incredible tear-jerker sequence, hence I put Mov. #6 as my favorite track! :) Favorite track: Movement 6.
    Ghuughra thumbnail
Ghuughra I know pundits like to throw around terms like 'breathtaking' and 'transcendent' with all the restraint of a toddler with a can of silly string, but d*mn if I can think of a more fitting set of adjectives.

Don't think I've ever heard anything quite like this. Pharaoh is the type of virtuoso that doesn't need to blow you out with tech to leave you speechless. Got me feeling emotions n sh*t. Favorite track: Movement 7.
    luixcampox thumbnail
luixcampox Masterpiece! .. complex and subtle. Something holds everything togheter, stable, but also there is always change and movement.

Can't imagine how precise musicians must have been, and what a state of focus required to perform this whole sound trip.

jef37 Impossible to be disappointed by this quartet, the musical palette is vast and well organized, all the sounds of dubstep come together for a perfect album. Bass music, deep dubstep drum n bass, halftime jungle in perfect harmony creating sounds rarely heard. Love this gem.

    thenewspaper thumbnail
thenewspaper this is one dilly of a tape, I can assure you. Holographic work--one piece of any Sangam is a part of the whole--and this particular here is a geode underground, hidden among the porphyry and ribbons of gold. Pierce the mantle with me, kill the planet, and let's live on the cold mist of the forgotten surface. OK? Favorite track: Goner.
    Night Light Tapes thumbnail
Night Light Tapes The inner fight between happiness and being in a peaceful state of mind and the existential dogma of suffering and death...Sangam highlights the darker side of the moon in this magical full-length album. Absolutely in love, and thank you Hellscape for the stunning tapes! Don't sleep on this, for the love of God.

If only we could sign Sangam on an album with us. ;)

Trizzie Their best release to date. Amazing mix of euphoria and bass with beautiful signature P&B ambience complimenting each drop. Favorite track: Twilight w/ Cimone.
    mislandasafan thumbnail
mislandasafan Pola & Bryson yet again delivered an album in which I can call every track my favourite. If I have to pick one out I'd say it's Waterfall, but seriously every song is just incredible. Big up to all the artists involved too! Favorite track: Waterfall.
