The songs are outstanding and the sounds, it just twists and turns. There’s times when it sounds like soul, times when it sounds like a big anthem, times when it’s big rock. And the singing is fucking incredible.
8/21/2025. This album really holds up. I’ve listened to it a lot in the past three years. The words he puts in his characters’ mouths and the details both command a lot of attention. There’s sympathy and compassion and honesty.
