    Gorwel & Fiona thumbnail
Gorwel & Fiona Fabulous stuff, and just wanted to say thanks for the label more generally. Our listening seems to be on the same traditional/experimental point on the Venn diagram as your output. Go raibh míle maith agat!
    diskant thumbnail
diskant On this album, I especially love the songs that are sung in Kurdish (Kurmanji). This is pure joie de vivre!
Di vê albûmê de ez bi taybetî ji stranên ku bi kurdî (kurmancî) tên gotin hez dikim. Ev şahiya paqij a jiyanê ye! Kurdî li Ewropayê ne pirsgirêk e û li vir pirtûkên Kurdî jî dikarin bixwînin. Li vir, berovajî Sûriyê, tu kes neçar e bi erebî biaxive. Ji ber vê yekê em bi taybetî bi stranên kurdî yên vê albumê kêfxweş in. Ji bo wê spas dikim.

    Woodrow thumbnail
Woodrow No other album I have listened to has ever managed to be as engrossing AND terrifying as this one. This one is not playing around, it is emotional labor to get through, and it is amazing. Favorite track: Receive.
    bcb723 thumbnail
bcb723 It's scary. Each time I hear this album one of two things usually happens afterward: I go on a Neurosis binge or I go on a Swans binge. It's the perfect gateway drug into both of their worlds. Jarboe's performance is terrifyingly intense and pushes Neurosis into new areas of experimentation. It's just so gracefully good. Those that know, know. You know? Greatest moment... "I'll destroy you!" Hell yes you will. Favorite track: Taker.

  3. SAVED!
    by Reverend Kristin Michael Hayter
    supported by
    urethrajuice thumbnail
urethrajuice One of my favorite albums from any artist of all time! Perfect mixture of earnest, beautiful, and bone-crushingly eerie. The howling vocals on top of the out-of-tune, degraded backing tracks really sell it. Favorite track: I KNOW HIS BLOOD CAN MAKE ME WHOLE.
    Meyer zum Mischen thumbnail
Meyer zum Mischen Listening to this album feels like watching a movie to me. It evokes so many different feelings which are often ambivalent and hard to describe in words. Embedded in the hilarious moments of All Of My Friends are going to hell is a lingering darkness. The religious hymns are comforting at the same time. The melancholic songs are juxtaposed with tension-building sound-design choices. This album feels like a very real, pure and honest artistic statement.
    strikedoves7 thumbnail
strikedoves7 Rev. Hayter has allowed me to process my evangelical charismatic christian trauma in a cathartic and exorcising way. Favorite track: THERE IS POWER IN THE BLOOD.
