Constantbacklogging This is among a list of albums that I didn't think I would embrace as quickly as I did. It's definitely long but it never overstays its welcome & the character of the sound palette lends to what I can only describe as "a hopeful brutalist". Like you were staring in the face of this concrete artpiece but it never exudes intimidation, instead with grace & awe Favorite track: Until Tomorrow.

---------------------------- This is a very personal album to me, as it was among the first electronic albums I listened to. It is as close as I can describe a perfect album to be. Big ideas executed in such a way that no one song sounds the same, but is unified by its design, orchestration, and pitch perfect production. A legendary album from a legendary band. layneson A classic! While this album is very much an electronic affair, I cannot shake the acoustic touches and haunting vibes of Until Tomorrow. Favorite track: Until Tomorrow.

DAS VILLAIN Hybrid are one of the progenitors of the short-lived "breakbeat trance" movement of the mid-through-late 1990's. There sound is very cinematic and danceable where they stood apart from their contemporaries. Classics is a great compilation for the already converted to Hybrid, but a also good jumping off point for new listeners of the duo. Favorite track: Enjoy The Silence.

I still have my vinyl and will forever be a huge supporter of Hybrid. just buy this and trust Elektro Globals words of wisdom with 30 years in the game. Shit, I recall all the great hits.. Nocturnal Egg (Jordan) Tout oppose en apparence Fear in a Handful of Dust et Long Stories, le premier étant placé sous le signe du conflit, de la dualité — qui était annoncée dès la pochette et confirmée par le choc entre les notes erratiques et l'ambiant calme — tandis que le second est une collection de berceuses contées avec de l'IDM ambiant. Mais en réalité, ces deux opus se rejoignent car, dans les deux cas, Amon Tobin veut créer un pur moment d'harmonie et surtout une harmonie fabriquées avec ce qui est cassé...
